Very easy and low drag stay! Great open space, quiet and provided fire pit. Great communication from the host. Only had a short overnight stay while driving on a roadtrip but it was perfect for that!

Dana was great, a really nice property and close to Berrima. We will definitely be back to explore more. Loads of birds, animals nice sunrises, sunsets, and great trees.

Great quiet place. Dana is a great host. Did a bit of bush walking that is on property. Dana will give you a map which helps. Highly recommend if you want a place to chill out.

It was quiet and tucked out of the way of civilisation. Dana was very helpful in pointing out a great spot for us to camp on her property. Fire pits were available to use to minimise damage to the property.

Easy access, all level had 22ft caravan in there with Plenty of space. Slight road noise from Hume hwy. you can find firewood in nearby bushes, chickens for kids to see. A little pricey but would stay again.

Very peaceful.
Yes you can hear the highway traffic all hours but it’s not significant enough to worry you.
Lovely hosts.
The only negative is the lack of signage.
I think the sites should be numbered or named and allocated.
The pathways through the bush to the river should also be sign posted, not easy to navigate, i can see visitors getting lost .
Would I come back? Definitely

What a great spot to take it easy, Dana was the best with a great welcome. What a wonderful place to camp. Walk to the River it does takes a little effort to get down there but worth it, and not far from Berrima to walk around the town and have lunch at the pub.
Lots of fire wood you just have to look for it.
Thanks again, we stayed 9 nights lots of star to see while sitting around a fire.
We will be back as not for from Sydney.

Great kept site. Went with 2 other campers and had a fabulous weekend. Loved you could have an open fire. Fire pits supplied too and heaps of wood around to collect. Definitely be back

Dana was a great host. The sites were tidy and well maintained and there were plenty of fire pits and firewood available. Would recommend it to anyone.

This was one of our first Hip Camps. The drive in is really pretty and we loved being out in the open like this. The property is lovely and flat, so set up was quick and easy. Lots of Kangaroos. Our dog is still getting used to camping and is quite clingy which we find funny. Overall really loved our 2 night stay.

A beautiful place to stay. Nice level field and plenty of fire pits and wood available. Dana was very welcoming and shared a great map of the property. Worth the final scramble down the rocks to get to the river. Will be back for sure ✨

Very beautiful camp spot. Nice bush walks around the property and a wonderful creek to swim in. Probably 20min walk from camp, with some climbing involved. There were other campers in the same area but decent amount of space between.
Host was very friendly and easy to deal with.

What a beautiful property. We chose a secluded spot behind the dam. Very peaceful, barely even knew anyone else was there.
Dana was lovely and greeted us on arrival, supplying a mud map of the property which was great for navigating the bush tracks.
Some great bush walking tracks and the river was beautiful.
We will definitely be back.

Neat, tidy and well maintained FLAT site with lots of options. Great bushwalk and a truly spectacular river gorge, if a little bit of a challenge to get to!
I really don't know what costs are involved in running a hip camp that offers little more than a well maintained campground and a fire pit or two but the $96 price tag seemed a little high to me.
That said, Dana was very welcoming and friendly and the map she provided (via text message) was helpful. I would very likely return even if just for the spectacular river gorge and the great walks around the property.
The road in was pretty easy and the proximity to Berrima meant it was easy for us to get to town when we wanted to.

Amazing location and Dana is an incredible host! The property is huge with walking trails, river access and an array of wildlife to see. The campsites are nice and private with close access to many things in the southern highlands. Highly recommended

I would highly recommend staying here. Big open paddock, dog friendly and nice bush walks around not far from a creek. Beautiful. The owner was lovely and really accommodating, offering a mud map of the property for us.

Great location close to Berrima. Dana made some great recommendations for a swim at Berrima reserve, which was perfect for the little ones. Although we only stayed for one night, the property was filled with wildlife and sweeping views.

The open camping site is absolutely stunning. There are multiple spots, offering a wide range of opportunities, all flat and perfect for tents and vehicles. There are heaps of walking trails around, marked clearly and relatively easy (some do involve a little bit of traversing rock but nothing unmanageable). The reward at the end of the trails is the beautiful river/creek with many cute swimming holes. Very special spot. I'll be returning again and again and again.

Repeat visit and will be back again. Clean open sites with barrel fire pits, view over a dam and into the bush. Some short walks on the property, one the 'rock shelf' has great views. Enough room from other sites, even though within sight you are not on top of each other. Communication with Dana is easy and responsive. Great location for the Southern Highlands. Thx

Had an excellent experience from the moment we arrived, with a lovely and welcoming greeting from Dana. We did all the walking tracks which were a lot of fun, and the dogs enjoyed them. Not too intense, but still diverse enough to feel like you're going for a remote hike. Especially loved that firewood was supplied and abundant, along with the fire pit.
But the real kicker was the 2 friendly dogs at the house. Running laps up and down in excitement and playing fetch with them for 15 minutes. The best!
