850 acres of bushland situated in Tabulam. 2 creeks, great for 4WD exploration, hiking or just relax and camp by one of the creeks in one of the designated camping areas. Dogs are most welcome but must be kept under control or on a leash. We have fire places set up in designated camping areas but if you prefer to go bush and find your own spot please bring your own fire pit and don’t leave fires unsupervised. Firewood can be collected from around the property, there is ample if you like to forage for your own. But please NO cutting down trees. Removal of small trees on or over the 4WD tracks is allowed, some of the tracks have not been driven in over 20 years so loads of fun for the offroad 4WD experts who like to go bush. Campers must be fully self sufficient, including toilet and drinking water. We ask for minimal impact and please ensure you take your rubbish with you when you leave. 4WD access is recommended for most of the property however there is a 2WD camping area beside the creek and ample 2WD camping areas elseware around the property. $10 per additional adult per night $5 per additional child per night Generators are allowed. Fuel and groceries are available at Tabulam along with a pub and the honey factory which is a must visit. Drake Pub - The Lunatic Hotel serves an awesome feed and is about a 25 minute drive. Fossicking for gold and crystals, bushwalking, hiking, bird watching, stargazing, mountain biking, yabbying, fishing, and 4W driving are just a few of the things our campers get up to. We are 25 min from the Bruxner Hwy, west of Tabulam, the property is accessible via bushy drive. Confirmed bookings will be given directions to access the property.Creek Cradle is an open area beside the creek with a large fire pit and lots of space to patk your campers and trailers & set up camp and start to explore. It’s not far from the main entrance of the property and is great base to get yourself established. There is also a large dam at this site suitable for swimming and yabbying.

Creek Cradle is an open area beside the creek with a large fire pit and lots of space to patk your campers and trailers & set up camp and start to explore. It’s not far from the main entrance of the property and is great base to get yourself established. There is also a large dam at this site suitable for swimming and yabbying.

Loved this camp it quite and peaceful . Just lax back and listen to the birds. Found this spot handy for us being close to fossick area and 4x4 tracks . In ewingar and also drake . Beautiful rivers to swim in just 10 minute drive.

Quiet bush life!

We took an offroad camper trailer and our 2 small dogs with us. We met our hosts on arrival who even gave us some yummy free range eggs. We were shown the road near the home to the camp area which is definitely 4x4 access. The camping area is large, mostly level, slashed grass with plenty of shade with a dam. The little rocky creek, just a short walk through a bush path, was a dry bed this time. There are areas you can walk on the property or 4x4, but be sensible and remember snakes and ticks when walking. Central to where we wanted to explore (Ewingar, Drake state forest tracks) and a close drive to the Clarence River, it was nice to leave our camp site knowing things would be safe. A great spot to be private or have a group who can still spread out. There was another small camping area along the bush driving track that passes the creek, right on the edge of the creek, but for rooftop or swags. There were 2 large fire pits set up or use your own. Lots of wood down on the property to use for firewood. The only sound that reminded us we were in civilisation, was the planes overhead occasionally, otherwise we felt alone in the world. We will return as it suits our camping style 💖 The hosts were lovely.

Amazing location. Beautiful camp spot with plenty to see and do. The creek near the camp is very tranquil. The hosts are very welcoming and accomodating.

We really enjoyed our stay at Creek Cradle, Kirk and Tammy were great hosts and greeted us with a bowl of guava fruit, thanks Kirk. The campsite is very picturesque and the dam looked like it would be good to swim in on hotter days, but our dog loved it.
