Beautiful campground and lovely, friendly hosts! Sophie was very helpful and friendly and so was her husband Joel and dad Steve. We had a lovely time, the view from the camping spot is amazing! And so it is from the look out. The creek? Absolutely fantastic! We loved the kayaks and going there for a swim, we are looking forward coming back, Thank you for everything!

Creek Side Camp 5
was absolutely stunning!! very easy and accommodating hosts , totally private camp spot. beautiful river and the canoes and boats were so much fun !!

What can we say?
We arrived at Kurrajong Trails & Cottages with our Land Cruiser and camper trailer and were welcomed with incredible hospitality. The owners personally helped us set up on the most beautiful spot on the property. Shower and toilet were just around the corner, clean and perfectly fine.
When it suddenly started raining, the owners were so kind that they even invited us to use their personal kitchen. On top of that, there’s also a large shed available where you can cook comfortably if needed.
The surroundings are absolutely stunning. The sunsets are among the most beautiful you will ever see. And kayaking and swimming down in the valley at Wheeny Creek is heavenly relaxing, pure bliss.
The owners themselves are truly special people. So warm, so caring, and exactly what we needed at that moment on our journey. Their kindness made this stay unforgettable.
Would we come back? Oh yes! Even if it’s just to share a drink with these lovely owners and listen to their stories about how they started here 45 years ago with nothing and built this incredible place together.

The Horse Yard
I loved staying at this property, it was beautiful, quiet and private. The owners and host could not do enough to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, nothing was a problem. I also highly recommend Sophie’s yoga classes, they were wonderful. If you are looking for something out of the way and off the grid, this is the place for you.

We were there as 4 adults and 3 kids. We loved our experience. The view of the campside and kayaking/swimming activities were fabulous! The hosts were great as well. They came to ask whether the kids would like to join feeding Bobby (the horse) and kids the loved it! We definetly like to camp there again. Higly recommended!

We loved camping at Kurrajong Trails and Cottages. The view was amazing especially at sundown and Sophie and her dad were very friendly. We enjoyed kayaking and swimming in the Creek. Would definitely recommend it!

Lovely area, amazing hospitality, we really enjoyed our stay. Kids had a ball in the creek and using the kayaks and canoes. Although there was plenty of space, if it was more maintained ie the grass was much shorter there would be much more usable space for camping to accomodate more people but it was ok while we were there as it wasn’t too full 😊

Incredible place, super clean toilets and commodities, view is beautiful, host was very lovely,
We actually booked the wrong dates by mistake and she still found a place for us which she didn’t have to do, thanks again for the lovely stay !!

We had a great stay at the property. The views of the national parks and the sunsets were stunning. Such a beautiful part of the world.
The valley and creek are beautiful, with friendly horses, and walking in the property is amazing. The hosts were lovely and friendly too.
If we had to pick a flaw, I would say the camp sites were noisy and not very private. They are situated directly below the main house (Much closer than the map provided depicts), which means you get a lot of the noise coming down from there. We were there during Easter and it seemed there was a lovely family gathering, but that meant we heard a lot of it. You are also not isolated from the other campers, so you can hear and see them quite a lot.
