Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature at our stunning hidden acreage, just one hour from Sydney. The property is situated a short 3km from the historical Great North Road. The 3km journey takes you past the state forest along a dirt road. Access is easy in any type of vehicle. Despite feeling a world away, the property is conveniently located just a 15-minute drive to groceries and food, 20 minutes from the Laguna Trading Post, and 25 minutes to the Historic town of Wollombi. As soon as you drive through the gates you leave the world behind. You enter a hidden oasis of wildlife and bird life. Due to its secluded location, the property is free from any road and traffic noise. It’s simply you and nature. Reception on the property is limited to Optus. It’s a good way to have a digital detox. There are only 2 sites available on the property, both away from the main house. One is more suited to tent camping, whilst the other site is in a large open clearing that can accommodate multiple guests and is adjacent to the grass tennis court. Our limited number of campsites means you can enjoy the beauty of nature without being crowded. The property has some eclectic collections scattered around and is frequented by the owners. We encourage you to explore it. There are so many features for active people to enjoy, especially the wet Sclerophyll bush gully. We are pet friendly, but please respect the native kangaroos, koalas, wombats, and amazing bird life. Be self-contained with your own camping toilet/shower, water, and supplies, and enjoy fires in the provided fire pits. The sites currently do not have toilet or electrical facilities, but something we are working on. So please bring your own toilet and take all waste with you when you leave. If you want to head into town for a bit of relief, we are a 40-minute scenic drive to Tuggerah and less than an hour to the beautiful Central Coast Beaches. Book your stay now!

This site is best suited for pitching a tent. It is situated in a small clear opening secluded in the corner just past the farm shed. As soon as you cross the land bridge, you will be in your own world. Use it as a base for your riding or bushwalking. Immerse yourself in nature. It is surrounded by beautiful trees. All campers need to be self-contained at this time.

This site is best suited for any type of camping, and slightly larger groups. Pitch a tent or park your camper. It is situated in a clear opening adjacent to the grass tennis court. Pick the best location that suits you, plenty of space, it’s the biggest site on the property. Use it as a base for your riding or bushwalking. Immerse yourself in nature. It is surrounded by beautiful trees and is the entry to the wet gully. Campers must be self-contained at this time.

Our stay at Hidden Acre was nothing but magical, especially the dawn chorus ! It is a big privilege to have such a big and beautiful paddock just for yourself… Michael’s communication has been fantastic as well, so we couldn’t recommend this spot highly enough !

Fantastic location convenient to Sydney, we loved our stay. We had no issues with flys or bugs, very peaceful and easy camping. Good communication too!
