Green Ridge Organics is a working farm raising sheep and goats on 115 acre approximately two hours from Canberra and 2.5hrs from Sydney. The drive through the Blue Mountains to Taralga has been voted one of the best scenic drives/rides in NSW. The elevation on the property is around 1000 meters and we get snow a few times a year between June and October. We have set aside roughly 46 acres for camping at this time and are planning to offer a farm stay experience in the future. We have 2 camping sites. 1 site has a camper trailer, camping toilet, BBQ facilities. All other sites are primitive camping with a fire pit and firewood supplied. All sites must BYO toilet. Both sites offer sweeping views of the surrounding land to the south and west. Within 50km there is Wombeyan caves, Taralga Wildlife Park, Abercrombie River and the town of Taralga which has 2 pubs, a restaurant, cafés, convenience store and petrol at the rural store on Saturday mornings only. Well behaved dogs on a leash may bring their humans.
