Just 20 minutes from Gosford & Hornsby, this hidden natural oasis offers the most unique camping experience anywhere in Australia. Set in spectacular natural bushland without marked sites, a 200-acre creekside campground, gives you the freedom to find your own patch and sprawl out - making it perfect for families and groups of all sizes. For all camping styles, offering both powered and unpowered campsites! Enjoy open-ground campfires, waterhole swimming, a petting farm with super cute baby animals and breathtaking Valley views. All alongside epic onsite adventure tours - including horse riding, quad biking, kayaking, abseiling, axe throwing, laser skirmish & more.Glenworth Valley is not like a caravan park. Ecology and sustainability are at the heart of what we do. To bring the joys of family-friendly bush camping to the region, our campsites are kept in a natural state and are all unpowered. Most campsites are scattered along Popran Creek in large open fields which our 200 horses also call home during times when campers are not visiting. As such, you shouldn’t expect the grounds to be manicured or have all the comforts and facilities of a regular caravan park. Though permanent amenities with hot showers, running water and flush toilets are available all year round. We cater to all camping styles, offering both powered and unpowered campsites! If you wish to stay in a powered site, please contact our office at the time of booking (additional fees apply). An onsite kiosk with barista-made coffee, tasty treats and take-away style meals is open Fridays, Saturday, Sundays and holiday periods - perfect for a hot breakfast or lunch. Plus an onsite store is stocked with outdoor essentials, firewood, ice, snacks and packaged food - covering camping essential you might have forgotten to bring. Onsite management and security enforce a strict, 10pm noise curfew. If you are looking to make noise or party all night, Glenworth Valley is not your camping destination. Bookings of 8 or more adults will be required to provide a credit card pre-authorisation of $500 prior to arrival. The pre-authorisation is a temporary freeze of funds on your credit card. Provided there are no issues during your stay, the pre-authorisation will be released by your financial institution within 5-7 business days. Reception is open between 8.30am - 5pm 7days a week. Please ensure you check in with us upon arrival. If you are planning to arrive any later then 5pm please call our office on 4375 1222 for after-hours check in instructions. Wholesome horse gate camping

I enjoyed camping at Glenworth Valley. I was warmly greeted at reception upon arrival and given directions to my campsite. I drove along the dirt/sandy roads and landed at my site. I arrived back to the valley one night to find the gates had been shut leading to my campsite setup. I wasn't entirely sure what was going on so I called the out of hours number who I asked if I could open, drive through, and close the gates to reach my tent. They reassured me that was absolutely ok and that the Maloney horses were in there. Thank you for the takeaway recommendation down the road. Thank you also for the well kept toilet, toilet paper, and hand washing (soap provided) facilities. 🌿 Overall, I had a lovely experience camping in nature near animals.

Such a gem! Had no idea it was going to be this great. A fair few people camping but everyone was respectful and I had such a good sleep here too - completly quiet except the birds, trees etc everything you’d want at a campsite) Fun activities to participate in as well such as the horse riding which was amazing, everyone was so easy to follow and the instructors were so friendly and helpful. The shop was useful to have to, just incase if you run out of supplies, same with the bathrooms, they were relatively clean (it was rainy and quite muddy tbf) so meant the floors were a bit muddy but if you’re wearing things then no problem whatsoever. Thanks for making my stay feel safe and secure❤️

Good place to camp and horse riding was fun as well The only improvement they can do is increase the number of washrooms near the campsites... also the lights were not working and had to rely on lamps and torches

Heavy vehicles in operation

I had booked at the camp site for 5 days and four nights. I was not told that there were heavy vehicles operating on site. We were placed right next to the road where heavy trucks and diggers were driving non stop. 7am on the second day a digger started up right next to our camp site. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. I provided feedback to the reception area and I was offered an alternative site, but considering it had started raining, I had packed up site and no-one had thought to give us any indication or warning of how long the heavy vehicles would continue to be operational at the site, I opted to walk away from the booking. I will not be back, and would recommend that any person booking at this site check if there is any major events or construction going on at the site prior to booking to avoid disappointment.

Glenworth is a huge campsite with a variety of camping options. We were in a group area, so there were some noisy neighbours & the occasional queues for amenities, but we enjoyed the property & hospitality from reception & the night supervisor (Ryan).

Large valley with lots of open space for tents and all kinds of setups. Being close to the city expect it to be busy. Various activities like horse riding, quad biking, feeding farm animals. Can also pick glamping as an option if you're into that.

The staffs were all polite and helpful. It was an OK experience overall. If you love horses and love to do horseback riding , then this is the place. But if you want a serene, peaceful, calm, quiet campsite with lots of shade I would not recommend this place. There were a lot of horse poo in the site and when the wind blows the smell just stinks a lot. The good sites were reserved for glamping tents unfortunately. Very unlikely that we will camp here again.

Really cool place to either relax and unwind or be active, lots of activities to do, toilets and showers are basic but enough for a camping trip. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, we enjoyed our Lil getaway.

Overall, the location is lovely, but the amenities are in real need of improvement. There aren't enough toilets/showers for the number of people the site holds, and they were in a terrible condition by the morning. Also, be aware there's no WiFi in the camping fields. There's no camp kitchen or cooking facilities. Compared to the many other sites we've stayed at, this was extremely expensive for what you get.

I loved the location. Only a 15 min drive to gosford which made grocary shopping easy , and also located near by was an Anaconda and Bunnings in case you forgot any essential camping gear. The canmp ground also had a kiosk which had other essential camping stuff. They also have a little cafe in case you cant be botherd with cooking breakkie. And they also let you have camp fires. But i think my favorutie bit about it was you can pretty much set up whereever at the allocated camp ground you get. But also so many activites you can choose from.

A lovely campsite with a mix of activities and overnight options for families. It is a perfect location for a long holiday or even just a weekend to escape from the city. It is not far from Sydney and mostly highway drive, and if you forgot to bring anything, gosford supermarkets are just within 30 mins drive.
