Site 4 - self contained RVs/ tents

Good spot, tables are a nice to have. Each camp site is Camps close to each other. So it can be tricky if you have a dog and need to keep it away from another camper’s dog. The owner did not respond to my HipCamp message. There is a pump and water-tap, but it was not working. I had to plug the water pump into a different power socket and to get it working.

Sublime quiet spot for sunset and sunrise with wonderful natural views. The camping areas are spacious and each site has a spot for a camp fire. Might move here full time and become Zen!

Quiet camping area, really close to town. We had the camp to ourselves which was nice! Lovely fire area for each site. The first 6 sites are quite close together. If you are wanting more privacy it would be recommended to book the tent sites.

This is a good location for Byron bay or Mullimbimby, but the sites are extremely small. They aren't much bigger than a caravan park size. The grounds all over grown and doesn’t look like the photos. It’s also extremely expensive compared to others which offer a lot more. We were the only group booked in for the weekend and still had a Ute driving 40-60kmh down a very muddy track through our sites while our young children played outside!

Nice campsite near Byron

We loved our stay at Glencairn Estate Campground. The sites were clearly marked and ours had a small firepit (we didn't make a fire, but was a nice option). Our site was next to a cow paddock and we enjoyed watching them graze in the afternoons. Bonus: there is a coffee van at the top of the estate track!

The view from the spot was beautiful, as well as the drive between Byron Bay to the campground (only 20-ish minutes). We strongly recommend to stop at the coffee near the entrance, best coffee and lovely staff!

Ripper location, in between Mullumbimby & Brunswick Heads and very close to Byron Bay. Flat sites with rural outlook. The best part was the coffee van at end of the driveway which was delicious.

Due to so many negative reviews we didn’t expect much. We were pleasantly surprised as it’s a really nice spot for camping. Out of three campsites we stayed at this week this was the only one that was dry. Grass was well maintained, some wood was left for a fire pit. There is a lovely coffee shop at the gate to the campground that opens early. It could be a little bit more private but the location was a priority for us. Would stay again.

For us - A quiet spot to unpack, repack and catch up on some rest before checking in at an AirBNB in town. This worked perfect - would do this again. A little different than and overnight stay, however if you want a tidy, minimal spot of grass a stones throw from Byron Bay to catch a breath from the hustle and bustle this works great. They have a power outlet to charge up, and a nice flow of tank water/possible bore water I can imagine if you have a solid setup, this would be an affordable place to call “base” to setup, get into the chaos and fun that is in town before retreating back to base for the “ peeeth and therenity”

Host was very accommodating in letting us choose where to park our campervan as no one else was staying on his property when we were there. We arrived late and could not stay the second night that we had booked due to a scheduling conflict on our end with another activity. All that said, we were very bummed that the insects were so terrible. Likely due to cyclone Alfred flooding before our trip but we essentially could not open a door or window for even a few seconds without swarms of mosquitos filling our campervan, much less spending time outside enjoying the beautiful property. The morning coffee view was amazing though. Would stay again when bugs are more manageable.

Overpriced & not maintained

I don't recommend this camping site. We wanted to stay out of the busy caravan park in Byron so we picked this site. It was actually more expensive than staying in caravan park ($50/night) with all the amenities but we were hoping being there alone, which we were. First when we arrived we were struggling to find the our spot as after booking there are no detailed instructions how to get there. And then we found out unmaintained site with 30cm long grass. Not very pleasant when it's raining and everything is wet. Unfortunately there is no option to attach photos. I wouldn't mind this fact if it's a reasonable price but being charged $54/night with no refund policy for that, it's a bit rip off. I hope this saves someone else's money or pushes Giorgio to take care a bit of his camp.

Great little spot for a night stopover. Close to Byron but far enough away to be out of the town. Was nice and peaceful for our stay but sites where quiet close together and could imagine that privacy would be lacking if there where more people. Other than that, good spot.

Beautiful, green & lush camping.

We loved the surrounds and setting at Glencairn Estate Campground, the Byron hinterland is so lush and green. We felt that $70 per night was quite steep considering there were no amenities or potable water but we loved our stay nonetheless. We would agree with some of the other reviews that the camp sites are more suitable to grou bookings as they are quite close together considering how much space is available on the property. Overall we thought it was beautiful and would recommend.
