Are you looking for a retreat to get away from the city, or a refreshing alternative to a caravan park along your journey? We have CAMPSITES nestled in our Orchard or in the Pine Trees paddock, (with nearby amenities); or for more of a comfortable and unique stay, try our CHARMING, CONVERTED SCHOOL BUS! Fern Valley Ranch has it all- waterfall viewing, bush walks, animal feeding. Unwind; relax by the campfire with quiet cup of tea (or a beer). Leave the city behind and tune back in to the birdlife and whistle of the breeze among the tall trees. CAMPSITES- Max 5 campers (see Campsite Listing for number and type of dwellings allowed per site.) SCHOOL BUS- Max 4 guests (no pets)- can book separate bus campsites after booking Bus. SCHOOL BUS CAMPING- Get friends to camp next to you in the Bus. *** NO ENTERING ANY WATER ON THE PROPERTY, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY IF YOU DO NOT RESPECT OUR RULES *** If you want to swim, there are beaches within half an hour from our farm. - We are just an hour between Sydney and Newcastle; and 15 minutes to Gosford. THINGS TO DO IN THE CENTRAL COAST: - Australian Reptile Park - Great North Walk - Fire Creek Botanical Winery - Mount Penang Farmers Market - Mangrove Creek Dam - Many Cafes & chocolate shop -BEACHES: The Entrance, Toowoon Bay, Shelley, Terrigal - Gosford Regional Gallery - Edogawo Commemorative Gardens - Take a drive to the small village of Spencer - Golf clubs are all nearby.❗️PLEASE CHECK AVAILABILITY, BOOK THROUGH THE CALENDAR. We try our best to fulfil requests. 🌱 Once you have booked minimum 4 sites, you can have one whole paddock to yourselves. 🌱 One car on the site is allowed. A second car can be parked in our carpark after offloading. When it isn't busy, the camp manager may let you park a second car on the site. 🌱 Each site has a complimentary firepit. It was a nice area to camp in. Flat grassy land and even with a lot of rain my site drained well. No poo on the grass and no smells despite being close to the horse paddock. The showers were clean and nice and hot. The main reason for the ‘mixed feeling’ review was the portaloos were quite smelly even after the first night of camping and by the end of the 2 night they were pretty full as well as smelly….

A very peaceful place with lovely, accommodating staff. The facilities were clean and comfortable, and discovering the hidden waterfall was a delightful surprise. Easy to get to lots of nice beaches on the central coast.

What a beautiful Hipcamp and only a short drive out of Sydney. We were greeted by the wonderful hosts and given all the information about our stay. The kids loved every minute, the animals, the orange picking and the waterfall!! We will be back!!! We couldn’t recommend this more!! It has all you need and more

We enjoyed our time at the property! Our caretaker Steve checked in on us a few times to make sure we were all ok. We had a big enough group so we were in the private Orchard area which was perfect for 5 families. The downside is that area is a few minutes walk to the flushing toilets and hot showers. Our experience with the drop toilets and bathrooms during NYE/NYD were clean. The bathrooms were cleaned, but drop toilets were emptied when we checked in but not during our stay. Property had plenty of cows, chickens for the kids. Except the rooster is super loud so bring earplugs if you're sensitive. Scattered sinks for washing dishes and hands were super convenient. But no bins, so prepare what you bring and have space to carry it home.

We had the orchard section all to ourselves, great spot for families and more than enough space for our 5 groups. There are horses, cows and chickens/roosters located on the property so it is great entertainment for the kids. However, the roosters will wake you up very early! The portaloo was close by to our campsite, but the flushing toilets and showers were 5 minute walk away. Steve and Di were very welcoming and checked in with us everyday we were there. Would love to come back to experience this place without the rain :)

Great camping spot. Brilliant for a large group to gather together in one field around the fire. Very clean shower/toilets down at the field by the bus. The caretaker Steve was amazing, he had great tolerance of our groups children & kept them entertained with various farm tasks like feeding the cows. Highly recommend this camping ground.

Had a lovely stay at Fern Valley Ranch. Plenty of space at each pitch and having our own fire pit was great. Facilities were really good with hot showers and toilets. Loved seeing the animals and the waterfall walk was beautiful. Steve the site manager was super helpful. Would definitely come back.

Beautiful site near the orchards. Plenty to do on the Property and surrounds with the kids. They loved seeing the animals and the feeding times. Flush toilets and shower block were a short walk away but nice warm showers!

We had the best time camping at Fern Valley. A group of us with a mix of tents and caravans spent new year together. The area was nice and quiet with a great fire pit to all sit around. The toilets and showers were so clean and the hot showers had great power. Lovely sunsets and great little walk to the waterfall. Steve was AMAZING with the kids, feeding the cows and horses with them - he was like the pied piper, they loved him. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time camping at fern valley ranch the area was well kept and the showers and toilets were so clean. Can’t thank Steve and di the caretaker enough he took the children to feed the animals they were both so friendly and accommodating. Can’t wait for our next visit

Easy to get to. Great atmosphere and lots of room for camping with designated space so you don't feel like you're on top of anyone. Well-looked after grounds and some lovely walks! Camp Steve was a great help and lovely to have a chat to. In the pine area, everyone has their own fire pit so remember to Byo firewood or go hunting around the property for some :-)

They were always happy to assist, share their knowledge, and ensure everyone felt comfortable and included. The farm itself is a wonderful blend of nature, comfort, and authentic farm life, making it a perfect getaway for campers of all ages. The welcoming atmosphere created by the team made our experience not just enjoyable, but truly memorable. We cannot recommend Fern Valley Ranch Farm highly enough and would absolutely love to return. Camping paradise for families!

Wonderful family friendly property that has had so much love and care poured into it. We loved the waterfall and bushwalk, exploring the orchards, having our own firepit, feeding the cows, meeting baby chicks and the tractor tour with Steve and Di on our last day. The campsites are large with plenty of room between groups so you're not on top of your neighbours. The hot showers and toilets are well maintained and you can wash your dishes with a view of the horses. The caretakers are so kind and responsive too. We can't think of a single thing to improve our stay. This was our second time staying and we will definitely be back again.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Pines campsite. There was so much space, and it was so peaceful. The fire pits were great, and we enjoyed having a campfire to toast marshmallows on. The walk to the waterfall and the rock was easy and so very beautiful. An absolutely stunning part of NSW with easy access back to the highway and into the central coast beaches and amenities. We had a van with our own facilities, but the portaloos were cleaned every second day. The whole place was spotless. Our kids loved the space to run around and play with other kids who were camping. We will absolutely be back again. Thanks so much!

With two kids in tow, this spot was perfect, it had everything on site for a great bush retreat. We loved the hot showers and tips from the host plus the walks on property were great for a 5y/o without the need to go too far. We also lived that it was a little over 1hr from Sydney.

Amazing piece of land, lots of space and little trails and waterfall to explore. Though there were other campers our spot felt quite private. The orchards were beautiful. Showers and bathrooms were so nice to have as we camp in a tent.

Had a great time camping over Christmas. Very relaxing, toilets are clean and a beautiful trail to explore around the Waterfall and rock formations. My dogs had a great time. I will be back for sure.
