Welcome to Fairview, a small acreage on the doorstep of Lake Hume. We would love to share our part of the world with you. There is fishing, canoeing, boating, or bike riding on our doorstep. There's access to access to the public recreation ground across the road which has a tennis court and a large open space to kick a footy or play some cricket. Suits self-sufficient campers with own amenities and leave no trace. Good access for 2WD, caravans and large motorhomes. Campfires are permitted when restrictions aren't in place. Firewood for sale by the barrow load (order in advance, see Extras). Dog friendly. We recommend coming via the Wymah Ferry (now open again after low water levels), it's one of the last cabledrawn ferries in NSW and is heritage-listed. It's a beautiful trip across the Lake. 45kms from Albury via Wymah Ferry. 55 kms from Albury via Hume Freeway. 55 kms from Holbrook/Jingellic.

    Amazing bush retreat overlooking Lake Hume. A short drive from all necessities so make sure you arrive fully stocked and prepared. Gorgeous generous hosts who could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable.

    The area was clean neat reasonably flat Very helpful hosts with local info as to where to go and what to see.Very quiet calm place with the occasional baaaa from the the farms sheep 🐑 peaceful outlook across the Hume River

    Colin & Susie are 2 beautiful and friendly hosts. They make you very welcome to enjoy their patch. It was very relaxing and there is also could plenty to do close by. I was plant my next trip there before I left.😊

    Such a beautiful spot! Views of the hills and water, and plenty of space. Nice touch with the fire already going when we arrived - Col and Susie were extremely welcoming. A very relaxing weekend 😊

    Beautiful secluded spot! Exactly as described with a lovely outlook. The fenced in area was fantastic for our dogs and Colin and Susie were very welcoming and hospitable hosts.

    What a wonderful place to stay! Susie and Colin were so friendly and very accommodating, giving us tips on things to do and see. The camp is well set up with a bbq and undercover area if you are not set up with these. Look forward to staying here again.

    Beautiful spot overlooking the river! Colin & Susie were very hospitable and welcoming! Plenty of room for caravans, trailers, etc. We will definitely be back again!

    Lovely welcome from Susie with the campfire already underway. Very quiet, great hosts and loved the ferry trip. Dogs had an absolute ball. Thank you - would stay again.

    Colin and Susie’s Place is a great spot. Very private, lots of sheep, an alpaca and even a large owl came to visit at night. The space is fully enclosed (only a short fence) which was great for our dog, Thanks for having us.

    Exactly as it said on the box! Drive straight in and set up on level ground. Colin and Susie were easy going and lovely to talk to. We slept with all the doors and windows open with a light breeze coming off the Murray River. Bird life was great wonderful. Will be back on our way south.
