We loved our stay at Everlong, and will definitely look to come back! Anthony was really welcoming and Moodong bend is fantastic! Areas for adventures, paddling and fish spotting! In all weathers this place was exceptional!

Everlong, what an amazing place. First time taking the kids camping and it worked out perfectly. We were looking for a private off grid location we’re we could explore and enjoy a well needed break, and Everlong delivered. Anthony was very helpful host, provided an escort to the camp site (We got lost).. and even brought us & split fire wood. Stunning views from the campsite. We were able to travel down camp to the natural creek which was well needed with the extreme heat. Kids had a blast exploring in the water, gathering colourful rocks and looking for fish. We will always remember this camp site as our first and will definitely be back. See you again soon Anthony!

Secluded camping in paradise

Another wonderful stay at Everlong! This was our second stay in just a few weeks, we choose the Moodong bend camp site this time round and it was a a beautiful little spot nice and secluded. We had a little creek out front of our camp for a dip and then drove over to the river to explore up and down stream with the canoes provided. Lots of wildlife to be seen including, many water dragons, wombats, goannas, wallabies, bass and endless amounts of different bird species! We even saw a very quick sighting of the resident platypus swim under our canoe! Anthony was an amazing host! Greeted on arrival and firewood delivered to your campsite. Friendly and inviting. We will be back again!

Excellent spot, setup and hosts. Kylie and Anthony made us feel more than welcome and we will be back… we got home and my kids asked if we could go back tomorrow…. That’s a good review! Haha Words are hard…. Go and check it out. It’s the only way to experience this one! If ya don’t like it…. Go back to the caravan parks…. It’s not a caravan park… its living at its best! The accommodation growth plan sounds awesome, enough space for growth with no effect to the experience. Adding toilets does change the type of people…. That’s my only feedback…. But in saying that 7days on a portapotty with 4 x people…. It was full!! Just means you can stay longer…. Which isn’t a major problem to have! Get out there!

What a beautiful property! The river was absolutely stunning, crystal clear waters with so much wildlife. Having the Kayaks there for us to use was awesome! We camped in a tent, it was tricky finding a flat spot, next time we will take the camper trailer. Nearest town for fuel and ice is Braidwood so be prepared. Anthony had firewood on our arrival and was a fantastic host! Can't wait to go back!!

Moodong bend is one of the best campsite. The place is solely entirely to ourselves. It was huge and peaceful, we camp right next to the river. Kids enjoyed swimming and playing around the river, water is a bit cold which is perfect to cool down in a hot weather. The host is lovely, Anthony gave me free firewoods cheers mate (We’re really sorry for not double checking if the fire was completely out, we should know better. Apologies for that.) Other than that we really enjoyed our stay and definitely will come back next time!

Fantastic remote site next to a nice little creek. 4WD only, but no issues getting our off-road camper in. Friendly hosts provided timely and clear directions, all went smoothly. Thanks for a great stay.

22ft Caravan at Moodong Bend.

We enjoyed a very private camping spot. Anthony the host was friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the free firewood. I’d happily recommend this site especially when the creek is full! Some things to note: The directions to the site were confusing and tricky to decipher although we figured it out! Maybe some clear bright signage along the long access road would help and reassure that you’re on the right track! We camped in our 22ft caravan and were able to access the site, our 4WD was essential and if towing a large caravan I wouldn’t recommend accessing this Moodong Bend site when rain is forecast. Some parts of the access road were tight for our long caravan and meant that the end of the caravan bottomed out or came close touching the ground as we drove over the water bars (it wasn’t an issue, just be aware!). The site was mostly tidy, however there was rubbish from previous campers near the creek and around the grassy camping area. Overall, I’d recommend this site! The stars are bright, the creek is cool and the silence is refreshing!

Wildlife exploring haven!!

Camp site was great. We had a little creek to ourselves to go for a dip, and the big river was just around the corner (could walk or drive). Saw so much wildlife! Would definitely recommend going for a walk with a spotlight at night time. We saw eels, tawny frogmouth. Canoes are provided to go up the river. Anthony was a great host. We will be back :)

Private oasis in a busy world

We had an incredible stay at this remote private campsite. The journey in requires a 4x4, but that only adds to the sense of adventure — and the reward at the end is absolutely worth it. The property is stunning, and the host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even providing firewood and a great fire pit setup that made our nights around the fire really special. The campsite itself sits in a peaceful meadow bordered by a small creek, and it honestly feels like your own piece of wilderness. The creek is something truly special — crystal-clear water with beautiful swimming holes that are perfect for cooling off or just relaxing and taking in the scenery. It was one of the highlights of our stay. If you’re looking for privacy, natural beauty, and a host who genuinely cares about your experience, this place is unbeatable. We can’t recommend it highly enough and can’t wait to come back.

It was a stunning location. It had one of the clearest rivers I have ever seen. We felt completely secluded in our own private oasis. The kids loved waking up to the sound of the cows mooing on our doorstep. There was plenty of wildlife to view and plenty of space to explore. Anthony gave great direction and also met us at the gate to guide us to the camp-site. He was a great host and even provided plenty of fire wood.

Camp around creek side!

My wife and I had the most relaxing weekend here! 🌿 It’s so peaceful — no noise at all, just the sound of the creek flowing and birds singing. 🕊️ We even found lots of wombat burrows nearby (sadly didn’t spot any this time.) 😅 The owner was super nice and friendly — even pointed out an eagle far away with his amazing eyesight! 🦅 Can’t wait to come back again. See you next time! ✨

A ton of things to love about Everlong and Anthony’s hospitality! Despite being a working farm and limited to no reception Anthony has excellent communication skills and instructions in place to get you there. The google maps link via Hipcamp takes you straight to Platypus campground. It is one of the closest sites to Canberra that is on a river. The river is spectacular. There are kayaks and canoes the kids will love it. Firewood and everything. We will definitely return to this lovely part of NSW :)

Kylie was so lovely and showed us around to our camp site. They have an absolutely beautiful property with an abundance of wildlife. If your looking to disconnect from the world and be amongst nature and relax then Everlong is the place to go. We will be back 🙂
