Canoelands Valley Camping is an easy-to-access camping area with magnificent views through the National Park Valley. With only two allocated camping/van zones enjoy the privacy and access to walk around the 40 acres. Located 1.15 hrs from Sydney CBD this is an ideal place for a quick weekend getaway for keen hikers, mountain bikers and nature enthusiasts. Surrounded by the Marramarra National Park you have a short drive to access the Canoelands Ridge Trail (17kms), Duckponds Ridge Trail, Marrarra Ridge to Smugglers Point Ridge Trail. We are a short drive to dine at Wiseman Ferry, and only 11 minutes from the local Woolworths. Or enjoy a beautiful walk at Fagan Park in Galston. Your camping/van area is supplied with red/bins. 2 Portaloos available or camping toilets. Dogs allowed but please let me know first. They will need to be on leash all the time and well behaved. Please pick up after them ANYWHERE they go toilet and also they must be vaccinated. No cats allowed. A campfire during permitted times is allowed but only in the fire pits. There is loads of dried kindling and small logs around the property otherwise please bring your own. All Sites have fire pits. CHILDREN are to be accompanied by an adult at all times if walking around the property. Beautiful spot to relax, with loads of wildlife and bird watching. Please use bins supplied and leave no trace. * There are 4 allocated camp sites. Two are easy(2WD & Vans/trailers) access and have the direct view through the valley. Two require high wheel clearance vehicles (just small hill to drive up with some rocks), these are more private sites(cannot see the other campers) still with lovely views. Please mention what car you have when booking. **Now offering access on weekdays but ONLY Site 1 & 2 (weekend access to Sites 1-4)Lovely peaceful property with beautiful views. A great chance to explore for bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts. Close access for hikers to many short and long trials within 5-minute drive. Chill out and enjoy the view. You are welcome to walk around the property, there is about 1.5/2 km of trials and area to explore. * There are 4 allocated camp sites. Two easy access (2WD and trailers fine). The camping/van area is supplied with red/yellow bins, with easy access portaloos. Please message us prior to booking to discuss dogs. No dogs on hikes in the National Park, and in the camping area dogs are to be kept on leash at all times and to be picked up after please. All dogs must be vaccinated. Fire pits are provided for all four sites as campfires during permitted times. Lovely spot for a camping weekend close to Sydney. Quiet with a gorgeous outlook. Portaloo is the cleanest one I have ever seen! Directions and information were very clear. Thanks for a great place, Debbie!

Gorgeous campsite. Stayed at Site 1 with my bestie and had the most wholesome, peaceful time. The view is beautiful and it feels nicely secluded - we barely saw another person. Firepit was provided which was a huge bonus and there was a clean portaloo too. Super clear instructions on arrival from the host also.. Thank you for a wonderful stay 💕

Absolutely — here’s the complete review, fully merged and polished for clarity and impact: ⸻ Review: We recently stayed at this campsite and were disappointed by the experience, despite the peaceful setting. Even before we arrived, communication felt stressful. The owner messaged us several times about our arrival time, giving us a narrow window because she needed to personally open the gate. She later asked us to change that time due to personal reasons. We were very understanding and adjusted our plans to suit her, but it felt like a lot of pressure before we even got there. Once at the site, we were two couples, sitting quietly with low background music and having conversations. We were careful to ensure we weren’t disturbing anyone—our site was far from others. Around 8:30 PM, the owner showed up unannounced, in the dark, and spoke to us in a very rude and confrontational tone. She insisted everyone could hear our music and continued arguing even after we immediately turned it down. She kept repeating that it was her private property and that the campsite was not for partying—even though we were simply talking around the table She made us feel especially uncomfortable was the way she watched and monitored our table while arguing, which felt invasive and disrespectful. We felt like our privacy was not respected, despite doing everything we could to be courteous guests. In summary, the location itself is peaceful, but the owner’s behavior made us feel unwelcome

Debbie is very caring and gave sufficient details on how to get to the campsite. She messaged me on the morning to ensure she can accomodate our arrival. The site i quiet and low density (only 5 sites and we don't really meet the ppl in other campsite) To reminded that you need to bring all the drinking/cooking water as there is no tap for the camper. we enjoy it and what a peaceful night.

We had a great time camping over the weekend. Site 1 had excellent views, fire pit provided, and toilet nearby. We really enjoyed our stay. Debbie was a great host and communicated clearly.

Great place to camp with friends. We were on site 4 and it had beautiful views of the sunrise and sunsets. There is a super clean porta loo within easy walking distance of the site. Plus bins at the gate. Plenty of free firewood and a good sized fire pit. We enjoyed a high tea 2 min up the road at Canoelands Orchard. They also allowed us to take our dogs. Glenorie Woolies, BWS, and a great bakery 15 min south. All very close and convenient. Debbie is a great host and made our stay safe, comfortable and enjoyable. Thanks Debbie!

We had a lovely long weekend stay with a few friends on site 4. It was very peaceful with great views and only 50 mins from home. Deb is very well organised and left very clear instructions for our stay.

We absolutely loved Debbie’s property. We booked campsite 4 and enjoyed the location very much. The property was gorgeous and our kids loved the surrounds. Debbie met us when we arrived and gave us some instructions. We ended up having the grounds all to ourselves since campsite 3 was unoccupied. We could of easily stayed longer. Bonus points for being an easy drive from Sydney and close to all amenities.

Great view, great to have a toilet (the loo at the top of the hill has a better view). Great spots to hang the hammocks. Fire pit’s ready to go. Love that it’s so close to home- an accessible getaway to unplug and recharge.

We had a wonderful stay at this campsite. The host , Debbie was very kind and easy to communicate with, which made the whole experience smooth and welcoming. The site itself is stunning – the view is absolutely magnificent, and the setting feels private and peaceful. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature. We’ll definitely be coming back again!
