Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
"Blufflands" was settled in the late 1800s and is still owned by the same family. The farm was decimated by fires in 2023 and is now being rebuilt with cattle operations underway. The limited sites available are uneven, off-road, and have no access to toilets, showers, or electricity. Well-behaved pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash and cleaned up after. Guests must be fully self-contained with their own toilet facilities and must take all waste with them upon departure.A small open field on the crest of a gentle hill with views up to Mt McKenzie to the north, to the east Red Hill the remnant collapsed supervolcano, and the iconic Bluff Rock to the West. Well behaved pets are welcome but must be kept on leash and cleaned up after. Guests must be self contained with their own toilet facilities and take waste with them on departure.
