Maple Grove farm is a twenty acre preserved livestock and hay farm in Harford County Maryland. It is home to sheep, alpaca, an old horse, chickens , dogs, and a cat or two. The world headquarters for Remsberg Inc Photo Studios is in the older farmhouse on the property and we lead photo safaris and workshops in Africa and England through the year. Our crack team of Border Collies are here to assist you with all your outdoor activity needs from frisbee tossing to ball throwing. Gather around the fire under the stars and listen to the sounds of sheep doing whatever it is sheep do with one of our loaner dogs at your feet and horses grazing in the sunset on the hill. When the weather is nice we occasional show movies by the barn drive in style and try to have one or two outdoor concerts each season. We are only three miles from W42 (Fallston Airport) if you are flying in. Nearby there are hiking trails and a swimming hole at Gunpowder Falls State Park one mile away. Boordy Vinyards down the road has a farmers market Thursdays and wine tastings other days or get homemade ice cream at Prigel Creamery just past it. Take your canoe up to Eden Mill or Bike on the Ma & Pa and NCR trails nearby.

Vintage van life - 1940's style
Staying in the vintage van was such a fun experience!! The farm is absolutely gorgeous, and we had a great time exploring it and the surrounding area. We were even able to walk to a local bar for dinner. I will say that you might want to bring your own bedding, as the linens and pillows are a little outdated. It can also get very hot during the day but with the vents open on a cool night, it was great.

Camping under a big sky!
What a wonderful place to camp. We did drive by the driveway a few times before we found it. We were so glad to set up camp there. The big open sky was great for seeing stars. The sheep dogs (as other reviewers note) are very friendly. Not knowing the names we unofficially named them Uno, Dos, and Tres. There is a porta potty that is clean, and well lit for nighttime trips. The grass was a bit high and I was glad to switch from Tevas to sneakers. We plan to return!

Camp in a pasture
Had a great site in the pasture. All 3 dogs are friendly with people. Water is cool and fresh- pull the handle all the way up. Very clean portapotty. Close to north central MD parks. Black Forest Tavern just up the road is a gem! Would stay here again .

Great spot. Must love dogs
Nice spot, camping neighbors in view but plenty of personal. It was level for my van, fire ring with a flat log to sit on but we didn’t use the pit. Grass was pretty high but I would definitely stay there again. The dogs are SO cute, friendly, polite, and well-behaved but we could not keep them out of our van unless our door was shut 😄 They dove in to take shelter from a flash storm which we were happy to oblige. We loved them but just something to be aware of if you don’t want dogs in your camp most of the time.
