Description

Small but mighty and gorgeous, Swinging Bridge Campground is the place to be with Mother Nature. The North Fork Payette River snakes beside the grounds, making kayaking and swimming accessible and sweet. The campground is shaded with Ponderosa and lodgepole pines, making summer days cool and cool nights beautiful to watch the stars peek through the tops of trees. Single-family sites have full hook ups, but are near the highway—not your jam if you mind a little highway noise.

This campsite is right on the highway, but you can’t beat the views. The traffic is few and far between, and didnt bother me, and my campsite was next to the road. The campground has a water pump and vault toilet. Highly recommended for a quiet getaway.
