There is plenty to see and do in the surround areas, you can check out the amazing Yeagarup Dunes nearby that rise metres above the surrounding karri forest. They are the largest land-locked mobile dune system in the southern hemisphere. You can explore by foot or by 4WD if you are an experienced driver. Yeagarup Lake is a gateway to the dunes and a great place to stop and enjoy a picnic by the water. The Greater Beedelup National Park is nearby where you can explore the many walking trails and check out the Beedalup Falls. Campers must have their own toilet facilities and take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Campfires are welcome when no restrictions are in place. Sorry, no pets.

The farm itself has horses and sheep at the moment along with all the other wild life that abounds the lower south wests Karri Forrest, if your looking for scenic bushwalks among Giants then it doesnt get much better. there really is a lot to do really close by and a great place to sit yourself to plan a few day trips fom.

Blackwood Ridge Nature Park is situated on the Roebank property and as party of the first settlement in this area, both Roebank and the neighbouring Peninsula House have historical significance in Bridgetown. The Roebank Cottage was built in 1890 by the grand-daughter of John Septimus Roe who was a famous civil engineer contributing to the original town planning of Perth City and Roebourne. In the early days, Roebank was used for livestock grazing and had the largest shearing shed this side of Bridgetown used by the neighbouring farmers. Over the years the property has been used as a pear orchard, goat farm and other small farming activities. Today the property operates as a family hobby farm with short-stay accommodation along the river residences and nature park sites on the high points offering scenic views of the valley.

This was the perfect little getaway. Matt check in before our stay, provided us with directions that were really easy to follow. Our spot was great size and we had some freedom to position our van how we wanted. Matt came and checked in on us on arrival and brought us some lovely fresh vegetables from their garden. The place is a great family spot. There's swings, ring toss and a kid slide plus heaps of room for the kids and dogs to run away and not be bugging anyone. There's board games and books and a nice seating overlooking the dam. There's heaps of shade in the morning and afternoon but still good sun to charge the panels

Stunning property. Peaceful hideaway surrounded by tall trees with open lawns overlooking dams. Easy access. Really spacious sites making it great for dogs and privacy. The host family obviously work hard to make it perfect. The grounds are maintained to a high standard and even organic veg as a welcome gift. There is also an easy nature walk through the Karri and Marri Trees and a bonus of a cellar door winery next door. Thanks for a perfect stay.

What a perfect place! Views, peace, nature all in one package. Great to have a visit and fresh garden produce from our host and daughter. After dark was lovely with the fairy garden and tree lights. The Nature walk was delightful and not long. Well set up with little added touches of quoits, board games, books etc. Only ones there so lots of space. Only downside were the ants that came to visit. Thank you Matt!! Just wish we could have stayed longer.
