There are miles of trails to hike, 4x4, wild forage, or hunt in season. There are a couple other lakes nearby as well as the Fraser River & the Big Bar Ferry. Highly recommend!! One of our favourites is the Jesmond Fire Lookout. It requires a 4x4 vehicle or physical ability to complete a couple hour hike! We are a bit biased but our place is a very special one of a kind spot!

Situated on a mountain plateau overlooking beautiful Anderson Lake there is a rugged beauty to this land. Through a quirk of geography, our land is remote and wild while only being a 3 hour drive from Vancouver. Located at the beginning of the Highline Road popular with adventure seekers, this property is about a 10 minute drive from the Anderson Lake boat launch in D'Arcy. The lake is a fisherman's dream known for its rainbow and bull trout. Paddle boarding, hiking, biking, and motorized sports are among the activities enjoyed in the area. Upon ascending the initial gravel road climb, you will be greeted with fantastic mountain and lake views. Pines, cedars, firs, birch, and aspen make up the forest cover while junipers and wildflowers find their home in the clearings between the trees. Hot during the day and cool at night, the views truly glow just before sunset and then again as the moon rises to cast pale shadows on a land free from light pollution. The property is still under development, so please excuse the mess as we build out our off-grid spa and amenity spaces. Currently we only offer a compost toilet, but stay tuned for a further refined experience that will include access to water, showers, 6 person hammocks, and trails. At this time we do not allow fires due to local fire ban, but CSA approved propane fire pits will soon be available for rent.

Marble Canyon Provincial Park’s small, quiet campground is surrounded by mountains and set between two small but pristine lakes: Turquoise and Crown. Set north of Cache Creek in eastern British Columbia, this park gets its name from the rare, white chalk-faced slopes of the limestone canyon in which it’s located. Enjoy active adventures (the area is popular with rock climbers, hikers, and anglers of rainbow trout) or the simple pleasures of sunning and swimming in the lake. Visit nearby historic Hat Creek Ranch and the town of Lillooet to learn about the region’s rich Salish and gold rush history. Marble Canyon Provincial Park has 30 vehicle-accessible campsites that are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Marble Canyon does not take campsite reservations. The park has 30 vehicle-accessible campsites that are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
To obtain a campsite during the busy summer months, try arriving mid-week.

When to go

The park is open from the beginning of May to the end of September. Despite being a lesser known camping spot, Marble Canyon Provincial Park can get busy in July and August, when the north Okanagan valley’s summer climate is hot and dry. Consider visiting in fall to enjoy cooler temperatures and fewer crowds.

Know before you go

During the camping season, overnight visitors can pay at the campground with a self-registration, cash-only system. Staff patrol the campground at least once a day during camping season.
Campsites have near private lakefront access to pristine mountain lakes ideal for swimming.
Marble Canyon Provincial Park doesn’t have wifi, and cell phone service is poor.
Campfires are permitted and fire pits are provided at each campsite, but be aware that limited burning hours and campfire bans may be in effect. Be prepared to bring a portable stove for cooking.
