Vallis Oakes is the perfect base for exploring the national parks and then relaxing by the fire under the stars. SELF CONTAINED CAMPERS ONLY To keep our valley pristine, all campers must be fully self-contained. This means having your own toilet, water supply, and taking all waste with you when you leave. This is non-negotiable to maintain the site's natural beauty. PETS are welcome provided they are good with other dogs and livestock. FLOOD WARNING The property is located on river frontage, it may be subject to flooding during heavy rain. Please check with us 3 days before arrival to confirm current conditions. In case of flooding, a full refund will be issued, or an alternate campsite on higher ground may be available. While the photos showcase the stunning blue waters, please note that the water’s appearance may change after heavy rain. You are welcome to enjoy campfires, provided there are no local restrictions. Firewood is available for purchase onsite. Plenty of space is available for caravans, camper trailers, and tents. The sites are 4WD only due to water crossings and challenging road conditions after heavy rain. PRIMITIVE CAMPING We do not have on-site amenities. Please bring all necessary supplies, including a camp toilet. It is essential to maintain the cleanliness of the site, NO DIGGING HOLES and all waste must be removed upon departure. We have a collection point for cans + bottles. Please note that there is no phone reception. If you require internet access, WiFi is available by the main cottage. ***Please note that not all sites are listed and availability isn't always up to date*** When requesting a booking, please let us know the vehicle you are travelling in - camper, caravan, tent, swags etc. Bellinger River Tourist Park has had many names in the past, including Wondecla Caravan Park, Repton Gardens and Repton Riverside Tourist Park but was originally a saw mill in the 1870's. Bellinger River Tourist Park took over in 2009. We have been slowly improving the land along the way and hope to make more improvements as we go. Adored by both young and old, you can find us halfway between Brisbane and Sydney, 3km off the Pacific Highway in the small town of Repton, just 10 minutes drive from the well known arts and craft town of Bellingen and just 15 minutes south of the conveniences and attractions of Coffs Harbour. Our park has a variety of accommodation options available to suit your needs and budget. Choose to stay at one of our powered or unpowered caravan and camping sites, with our waterfront sites large enough to accommodate all types of camper trailers, caravans and motor homes. As a Pet friendly park, you can bring along your additional family member on holidays with you, subject to the conditions of our Pet Policy. For the convenience of our guests, our Family Orientated Amenities block features 10 suites with hair dryers disabled shower, baby room, men’s room, guest laundry and a filtered water bottle station. We have a dump point located onsite with easy access. Bring your boat and your fishing rod along, and enjoy the magical sunrises and sunsets of the serene Bellinger River, right from your site. Pet Policy: Pets must be kept on a lead (retractable lead locked at no more than 1.5 metres) at all times and either retained by hand by an adult or tied up within your camp site. There is no “off leash area” in the park. Pets are not to be left unattended whilst you go out, they must go out with you. Pet owners are responsible for collection and disposal of their pet’s waste which must be sealed in a bag and disposed of in a rubbish bin. Bags are available for purchase in the office. Pet owners are personally responsible and liable for any and all injuries and/or property damage or losses in relation to any actions relating to their pet. For the enjoyments of all guests, please do not allow your pet to urinate etc on any guests site or property. For health and safety reasons, pets are not permitted in the Amenities Block, Laundry, Camp Kitchen, Community Garden, Pool (including pool area), BBQ area, or near, in or under Villas. If you wish to bath your pet, we have a bath located near the Back Boom Gate. Please feel free to use it. Please DO NOT wash pet bedding in the washing machines, dryers or laundry troughs. The Park Manager reserves the right to request that a pet and its owner leave the park if the pet is deemed noisy, disruptive, aggressive or inhibits the quiet enjoyment of other guests. Any and all monies will be forfeited if such a case arises.

Great location near Hat Head and South West Rocks This lovely 4 acre camping spot is situated at Kinchela on the tidal Kinchela Creek which runs directly into the mighty Macleay river. Please note that in very wet weather , being riverside camping, the sites can be unsuitable for caravans and camper vans . Please enquire by message with us to verify current conditions. We endeavour to accomodate you but cannot predict the weather. Tent sites usually okay at any time . You can fish , kayak, paddle board, bring the tinny or just relax and enjoy the water view and surrounding farmland. A few shade trees and quiet surroundings makes this the perfect spot for your next getaway. Fire baskets available. Conveniently located only a 5 minute drive to Gladstone shops and hotel. There is a tap and hose (town water) on site. NOTE This is not available for vehicle washing, cleaning fish or filling large tanks. No emptying /cleaning of portable toilets please. PLEASE NOTE Campers must be equipped with their own toilet facilities , absolutely no exceptions. People abusing this rule will be asked to leave. We like our riverbank to be pristine and enjoyable for everyone. Thank you. Safe surroundings for solo travellers. We live opposite campground if assistance is required. Beautiful undulating bush block with a lovely dam for swimming. The property offers about 10 acres of cleared and reasonably flat land to choose your campsite. Dogs are welcome under supervision. All guests need to be completely self contained. You will need to have your own toilet and shower facilities. As Caravans and RVs are unable to access the road further west, this is a great place to set up a base camp for day trips. Just 5 kms from Macleay river which is ideal for canoeing, fishing, swimming, etc. 10 kms east of the lovely area of Nulla Ck (home of Slim Dusty) and the historic village of Bellbrook that has a quaint old Pub that serves delicious food and has great views of the river. Past Bellbrook there is Blackbird Flat,(canoeing), Georges Ck Junction, and Wollomombi Falls, just to name a few.

I have stayed at Annie and Peter’s land before and I like everything about it. It is level and the grass is lush. You camp close to the water so you can fish at any time. There is limited sites so there is no overcrowding.

Loved our stay, Annie and Peter are friendly and exceptional hosts, they keep the grounds will maintained. We love that there are only 3 sites, so everyone has space and privacy. We didn’t have the best weather while there, (windy) but we had lots of diversions in visiting the nearby towns. Also close by to fabulous beaches. We would recommend and will definitely be back ourselves.

This is our 3rd time camping at Windermere and it never fails to deliver. An amazing relaxing camping experience with heaps of space and no feeling of having “close neighbours” Plenty of room to enjoy a fire and have our dog. The fishing is great too. The site was very well maintained and Peter and Annie were attentive hosts. We will definitely be back again.

Another fantastic stay at Vallis Oaks. We just love this place and particularly enjoyed taking advantage of the gorgeous, clear swimming hole during a very hot pack up! Immaculate site (as usual), almost completely surrounded by the crystal clear Nambucca River near its source, falling asleep to the sound of the running water, and absolute privacy. We loved the large, comfortable site with green grass on the river. Plenty of room for our camper trailer, boat and 2 vehicles. The hosts Annie and Peter were lovely and very accommodating. Our children loved the horses in the paddock with us and we loved watching the sunset on the river. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful, quiet spot with lots of room.

My partner and I had a fantastic camping trip at Annie and Peter's place by the river. They were so hospitable, generous and kind. They offered great advice about local places. The spot itself is very private, in a great location near Hat Head a dog friendly beach. We also got to meet Betty the newborn horse who was very sweet. Thank you for hosting us. My partner and I really enjoyed it.

What a gorgeous spot this is! Big paddock with just two other sites, and everything was nice and spaced out. Annie and Rick were very welcoming, and I appreciated the hose & tap in the paddock and the kind invite to fill up my van's tank before heading off. I brought my fur kid with me and she thoroughly enjoyed getting to see the horses (who shared the paddock with us!) up close. Downside to that of course is horse poo, which she enjoyed taste testing 😂
