Fish Farm Camp

We have a beautiful 20 acre lake. It's 60 ft deep with crystal clear water and is great for swimming and fishing. Kayaking welcome too. We also have a couple other ponds available for fishing as well. We raise fresh water prawn and bluegill in the summertime, so late september we have fresh shrimp available. Lots of waterfowl and deer here to see.

It offers kayaking & swimming at its own private beachfront.  Hiking and exploring the wilderness and so much more.

Clark Shack Acres 

Clark Shack Acres is a miniature horse farm in the Appalachian Ohio area. In the Muskinghum watershed near 5 State Park lakes Piedmont, Clendening, Salt Fork, Tappen and Seneca lakes. Also one mile from Egypt Valley Nature Public land. Close to fishing, boating, horseback riding, hunting, hiking. You can hike on trails at the camp site . We are a 40 acre family farm , not a camp ground .  But you can drive to all of our sites and  Pitch a tent near a pine forest and pond on a miniature horse farm . Private, but walking distance to the main house were water is available for washing and drinking. Many hiking trails on the land with a pond, stream, mediation circle. We have lots of wildlife. Located on a dirt road about 25 miles to nearest city. Fire ring and firewood is available. One tent or camper per site . Only 2 miles to Piedmont Lake where you can fish and go boating . They have a marina and restaurant. Only minutes from an Ohio wildlife reserve Egypt Valley great for hiking and hunting. Located in the Muskingum Water Shed with many lakes and streams including Salt Fork , Clenndening  , Piedmont, Seneca, Tappen Lakes . We have a lot you can park your boat when its not on the lake while camping .  We are located in a  Amish community , so watch for horse and buggys  on your drive to the farm.   primitive camping ~  is defined as being without neighbors, electricity, running water, bathroom facilities and, often times, cell service. You camp in a remote location and provide everything for yourself

Our farm consists of 188 acres of pristine, natural, rolling hills, woodland hollows and spring fed streams. 100+ acres of open hayfields and pastures and 80+ acres of diverse hardwood forest.Our homestead house and barns are over 150 years old with a few modern structures added to the barnyard. The historic Minksville Church is on the far end of the farm and was built by Holly's ancestors.
