Nestled in the hills of Monroe County, Ohio, Sparkman Lake (approx. 3 acres) sits on 40+ acres of the wooden area directly off State Route 145. We are located between Malaga & Miltonsburg. Sitting just a few miles away from the intersection with State Route 800 in Malaga, Ohio. The site offers 5 fully furnished cozy rustic rental cabins, a 4 bedroom deluxe cabin & 12 RV full hook-up lots. Individual parking is available at each lot. We took over in December 2018. We are constantly upgrading our property and completing projects to help improve our beautiful piece of land. It started with some simple property cleanup, clearing brush, fixing broken structures, and adding stone for instant transformations. Our goal is to offer our community a local place to visit and enjoy themselves, the great outdoors, fishing, pedal boating, and sitting around a campfire. As well as a close option to stay when you visit our wonderful county. We hope to continue providing this service. Food: Our campground offers a serene escape, to help you get to your "escape with less stress we offer a cooler of food upon your request! Our Chef will do the shopping and have it ready for you! We will cater to what you would like to eat and dietary needs. You will be responsible for the price of food plus delivery charge of $25. *Please order 24hrs prior to your arrival. 2.Dogs A- Permitted on Leash: We understand that many campers enjoy bringing their furry babies along for the adventure. Dogs are welcome at our campground, but they must be on a leash or a run. The fields have some groundhog holes, and we would be devastated if your dog was running and broke a leg if a leg slipped in a hole. We just want them safe. B- Awww poop! Alot of people use the camping area as a barefoot area so please clean up their poop. 3. Quiet time after 10PM: This just means no screaming. Play your guitar and sing until the sun rises if that makes you happy. 4. Alcohol: We would prefer you skip the drinks and just get high, but if your soul needs a drink please drink responsibly. Ian's place was perfect for our needs. It was close to everything, but felt pretty private considering it was next to the house. They had electricity which was a plus. It was very easy to communicate with Ian. The place was easy to find and set up. Would definitely use them next trip to Pittsburgh.

Great little spot to stop along the way to your destination. It was somewhat difficult to see in the dark, but the host was able to guide us to the site. The only issue we had was with the sewer location - it is located in a kind of awkward place.

We also have a couple other ponds available for fishing as well. We raise fresh water prawn and bluegill in the summertime, so late september we have fresh shrimp available. Lots of waterfowl and deer here to see.

There is a maintained hiking trail that starts on the edge of our neighbors property at the end of our road that goes to a state park.
