We are a 40 acre family farm , not a camp ground . But you can drive to all of our sites and Pitch a tent near a pine forest and pond on a miniature horse farm . Private, but walking distance to the main house were water is available for washing and drinking. Many hiking trails on the land with a pond, stream, mediation circle. We have lots of wildlife. Located on a dirt road about 25 miles to nearest city. Fire ring and firewood is available. One tent or camper per site . Only 2 miles to Piedmont Lake where you can fish and go boating . They have a marina and restaurant. Only minutes from an Ohio wildlife reserve Egypt Valley great for hiking and hunting. Located in the Muskingum Water Shed with many lakes and streams including Salt Fork , Clenndening , Piedmont, Seneca, Tappen Lakes . We have a lot you can park your boat when its not on the lake while camping . We are located in a Amish community , so watch for horse and buggys on your drive to the farm. primitive camping ~ is defined as being without neighbors, electricity, running water, bathroom facilities and, often times, cell service. You camp in a remote location and provide everything for yourself
