Beyond exploring, you can tour our orchard and meet our chickens who lay beautiful rainbow eggs - help collect them if you're up for it. We can serve you a farm-to-table breakfast with those fresh rainbow eggs and vegetables from our garden, or set up something really special with an outdoor dinner under string lights. As a retired hotel operator who traded the hotel business for farming, I love making sure guests feel welcome and taken care of. The Land is fantastic for little kids who love adventure, dogs who need room to run, and groups looking for privacy. This was the absolute perfect place for me on a long road trip, this cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's secluded but the hosts aren't far if you need anything else in a snap. The cabin itself and the surrounding area is so beautiful! It was nice to watch the sun rise from the comfort of my bed. J&T are very responsive, and even went out of their way to mail me a pair of earrings I left there, couldn't recommend this place enough!

My dog Teemo and I had a wonderful stay at Jim and Tracy’s A-frame cabin. They really thought of everything when putting this place together. When I arrived after dark, I wasn’t sure I was in the right spot and had spotty service, but Jim showed up within minutes and even started a fire for us while we settled in! The cabin had all the necessities for a cozy weekend — plenty of firewood included, a warm bathroom with a handwashing station, and even a guitar, which was such a nice touch to play by the fire. There are a couple of dollar stores nearby for snacks or produce, which was really convenient. Teemo and I were very comfortable and appreciated how thoughtful and responsive Jim was. We will definitely be back!

This was an awesome place to camp! Usually I don't see the host much, but this host was very friendly and accommodating. The site was about 0.25 miles from where our car parked and he brought all of our things there for us in his trailor. He even came back later to help us blow up our air mattress. The land itself was so secluded and really quite. There is a spring with fresh drinking water. You can see so many stars at night too!

10/10. Would give it 6 stars if I could. This place was the perfect escape. First, the location is amazing. Tucked away, quiet, and—the best part—absolutely zero cell service. My phone became a very expensive brick, and it was glorious. Highly recommend. The A-frame itself is pure cozy. It got a little chilly, but we fired up the wood-burning stove and that helped keep the cold away Also, can we talk about the bathroom? Clean. Close by. Not a terrifying spider-shed a half-mile away. We over-packed by a large amount. Don't be like us. Just bring your clothes, some food, and a good attitude. The host has already thought of everything else. We'll definitely be back, just with about 80% less stuff.

Absolutely loved staying at the A frame cabin. My partner and I brought our two dogs. Had a great time having bonfires and checking out trails. They also left a pumpkin for us to carve which was so fun and nice of Jim and Tracy to do! Rented the diesel heater and it was well worth it! Jim came and gave us a visit and was very kind. Would definitely recommend checking this place out and hope to come back in the future! :)

I rented this site with my partner for my birthday and to see someone else’s take on a smaller of off-grid lifestyle. (Apparently one you can haul up a mountain if inspired.) Fantastic communication with our hosts set us up for success. Jim and Tracy are so considerate! The site is away from the road enough and the view from the A-frame is pointed away from the driveway (see photo). We enjoyed hearing different birds and the quiet. Almost no outside noise, just an occasional distant truck. A beautiful variety of trees surround the A-frame. The deck and fire pit area are wonderful to relax in. One of my favorite parts was enjoying the small wood burner inside at the end of the day. So happy we booked here!

Absolutely loved our stay here! So quiet, secluded, and the stars at night were breathtaking. Jim and Tracy really go above and beyond to make sure their guests have the best experience, providing so many little extras that don’t go unnoticed. This was a perfect peaceful getaway! We only stayed for two nights but will definitely be back! Donald provides so much making it as stress free as possible! We really enjoyed the sound of the creek at all times and the hot showers! The yurt is beautiful and comfortable and the bathhouse was insanely clean and convenient! 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting some time in the woods! What a great HipCamp . One of the most professionally ran HipCamps I have stayed at. You have to be careful when it comes to HipCamps because a lot are misrepresented in the puctures . This one wasn't ! Jim stooped by and told me about some history in the area and I am always looking for history . We had a great but short chat and he left me to enjoy my camp. Had an absolutely fantastic stay at Jim and Tracy’s A-frame! The cabin is at the end of a dead end drive, nestled into the hillside. There are no other houses or campsites on the property and I was immediately struck by how perfectly private it felt. My dog was able to be off leash and explore without fear of traffic or other people. The cabin itself is adorable! There are so many personal touches, even a blanket left specifically for my dog! I loved the removable window at the back of the cabin and screen for the door- made for great airflow. It is small but Jim let me know I could rearrange things however I’d like to make the space work best. It was a very warm weekend so I opted to put up a tent and sleep under the stars. No light pollution so the sky was incredible! As a woman camping alone I felt very safe at this property. Jim stopped by a few hours after check in and showed me around a bit which was very appreciated. It is obvious they put a lot of care into their guest’s satisfaction. I almost hate to give such a great review as this is truly a hidden gem!! Many thanks Jim and Tracy for sharing this very special place. We will definitely be back!
