Hidden Hill Family Campground has been hosting RV and tent campers in Michigan since 1979. Although considered a small campground compared with most of its surrounding competitors in Clare County, it’s a true nature’s gem. This beautiful, quaint, country campground is a peaceful, wooded haven that's conveniently located off US Rt 127. It offers the following features: 44 RV sites, most of which have full sewage and water hookups, and metered 50/30/20 electric. 6 of these RV sites are pull through sites with big rig capacity. 9 primitive sites with no water or electric and 2 primitive sites with electric only. Each site has a sturdy picnic table and fire ring. We have a building complex with a small camp store, laundry facilities, and large clean restrooms with hot showers. We also have a 36’ x 64’ enclosed pavilion for events, rainy day activities, or as a rental for special occasions. (with a kitchen area, dance floor, and a theater and surround sound system). Shuffleboard, bocce ball, volleyball, basket ball, tether ball and horseshoes. We have a playground with exciting and exclusive attractions for kid including a 57’ x 33’ Kangaroo jumping pad and 85’ slip-n-slide, and a kids friendly zipline. We have a series of manicured hiking/biking trails on 28 wooded acres, “Hey” rides on Saturdays, fantastic free WiFi service is available and excellent cell phone service. Because of the RV parks smaller size, we have more time to directly connect with our camping customers to give them more personalized attention and added service, which is something everyone truly values, especially in the outdoor hospitality industry. This is also something that gives us a competitive edge over our much busier, louder, more impersonal, campground competitors. Hidden Hill will be a great place for any family who wants a more stress-free, intimate camping experience or couple who just want to relax over the weekend. Our campground operates 24 hours seasonally from April 15th - October 15th. Check-in time is between 2 and 10 pm and check-out time is at noon.

The Magic Forest is a beautiful 25 acre property that is a holistic healing center centered around personal and spiritual growth. We tend to our land with respect and care and ask that you do too. We trust you will feel right at home in the peace of our woods. The Magic Forest is located right across the street from the 4400 acre Rifle River State Recreation area. You can access the park across the street through the canoe port right on the Rifle River, with easy access to fishing, canoeing/kayaking, and trails. Kayak and canoe rental companies are nearby, as well as many lakes in the area with excellent fishing. We have tent sites available, pull-in RV or camper sites, and very soon will have several tiny homes ready for lodging. Special accommodations can be made for those wanting to kayak or canoe, utilize the wood-fired cedar barrel sauna, or have a campfire. Please contact directly for details. You can expect to hear the bird song throughout the day, and many other woodland critters as we are surrounded by state land, and are located on a federally protected watershed. It's about as clean as it gets! The area is traversed enough where we do not experience a population of bears or other predators one may be wary of in the woods. Whether you are a hiker, birder, forager, hunter, fisherman, dirt biking, or seeking a serene place to rejuvenate yourself-you have found a location that offers activities for every season. We do host events on the land such as yoga, sound meditations, retreats, and more. If you happen to stay while an event is occurring, there is a possibility you may be able to join during your stay. Contact directly for details. Rose City is 10 minutes down the road with access to all general food amenities you may need, as well as restaurants. West Branch is about 25 minutes away with the big box stores as well. Just down the road is Kenyon's Lakeside Resort, a historic Michigan Landmark and excellent restaurant with good food, music, and more. Another excellent must-visit just down the road is Lovewell's corner store, one of the best camp stores (and more) around!! We would love to host you at the Magic Forest and provide a place for you to relax, feel safe, and be at home.

Great location, 5 min from Hwy 25 (East of Bay CIty {20 minutes}, Frankenmuth just 35 minutes. High Speed WiFi, Water & 50 amp Power; Sewer. No playground equipment but one of the best RV sites in Michigan (that I have found). The Quanicassee River is one of the cleanest rivers in our area. Lots of boats go out and in by the dock. There are resident eagles, ducks, geese, swans, pelicans (rare) and lots of fish.

We have a few trails cleared out through our woods that can be explored. We have two horse, a miniature pony, two cats, a pug and two chickens. There is also a paved bike trail across the road from us that can be accessed. Electrical is available however, it is very poor and will not run an a/c unit!

Then your at the right place! This property is located within the beautiful Sandy Shores Resort. This full hookup (50amp, 5000 sq ft) site has a cement slab (16x35) for parking your RV and plenty of room for a large tent. The lot can accommodate 1 RV and 1 tent or 2 tents. There is a bonfire pit as well for your use. The property backs up to an open area, perfect for walking the dog (be sure to clean up after them), and for the kids to run off that pent up energy! Amenities include a sandy beach with a water trampoline and a floating platform, playground, volleyball court, pickleball court, basketball court, basball/soccer field, putt-putt golf, library (books, games, movies), pavilion, dog run, horse shoes, corn hole, and other oudoor games, hiking trails, and 2 bath houses with instant hot water for showering. On the weekends visit the ice cream shop in the park. Go on an adventure and find a painted rock and re-hide it, or paint your own and leave for someone else to find! The lake is an electric motor only, so bring your floats, kayak, canoes, and fishing poles (bass, blue gill, sunfish, catfish, pike) and listen to the loons sing! We have an eagles nest in the park where every year we watch babies hatch and grow. Lake George and Windover lakes are all sports and less then 5 min away. A very friendly community. Golf carts are allowed as well. There are 2 local places to rent one. Tubing and kayaking down the river is minutes from the park! Treat yourself to Kaleidoscope's coffee and sandwich shop in downtown Lake. Several Dollar Generals within minutes for picking up those last minute items. A Short distance to Clare where you will find the Trap Door Speakeasy with amazing cocktails and small plates, several restaurants, boutique shops, Jay's Outdoors, and several Amish stores. Off 115 is Reds Oakridge gas station that has the best pizza and subs! Mt. Pleasant is 40min away, you will find Soaring Eagle Casino and Event Center, indoor waterpark, big stores like Sams Club, Kohls, Meijer, Walmart, etc. 1hr and 20min from Traverse City. 40 min from Cadillac. Centrally located to many activities and adventures, with homebase in a peaceful resort, you get the best of both worlds!

Great spot! There is road noise but the tree lines make it feel private and the view is as pictured. Bathroom facility super tidy and well stocked. Wood delivery was speedy and our dogs loved having the space to themselves. We would highly recommend this camp!

My wife and I are slowly starting up our own little farm. We have 2 indoor cats, 1 outdoor cat, a dog, chickens and two ducks. We are on 34 acres and have a river that runs through the middle of it. We are 10 minutes from Alma and 20 minutes from Mt Pleasant. Lumberjack park is about 2 minutes away and Stearns preserve is about 5 mins away where you can walk or ride bike on a nice paved trail. We have a small garden that we plant every summer and plan to start a small farm stand this year. We are in a quiet area with lots of wildlife. We have 1 spot near the house with a view of the river that can support electric hook for a smaller RV and can attach a garden hose for water if needed. We do have a “field” that RVs can use but there is no hook up and there ground may not be level. We have many options for rustic tent camping along the river. No public restroom available. We can also provide some fire wood for campfires for a small cost. Along the river fires are allowed but must be contained in a fire ring. If camping by the field fires will be dependent on conditions. We have 3 kayaks and a canoe that can be used with prior consent. There is a park up river where you can put in and then can exit at our house which is about an hour on the river. We are very new to this and just purchased a UTV so we will be able to start making trails and clearing areas. But for now, camping along the river you will have to walk (and carry belongings) through tall grass to the site you desire. Quiet time 11 pm. We are an easy going couple that just want to share this slice of paradise with others! WiFi available

Relax in this serene honeybee cabin, being very close to, yet separated from the bees by metal screens in the bee bed air vents. Observe the activity in the apiary and woodlands through a large window. Meditate, listen to or play music, or allow yourself to drift off to sleep. * The environment inside a beehive is one of the most clean and healthy spaces found in nature.
