Quiet location on acreage in rural Baldivis (within the Perth metro area).
We love our little tranquil piece of paradise... our little freedom farm, with it's beautiful natural spaces and menagerie of animals, yet close to lots of local amenities in Baldivis / Rockingham. We're just a 15min drive to the beach and 30mins to Perth city or Mandurah.
We can only accommodate a small number of campers, or groups of campers, at any given time.. so you have space, solitude and security for your family/group.
You MUST be fully self contained WITH your OWN TOILET.
Clear bore water for small tank fills can be arranged during your stay. NOTE: we do NOT have mains water and constant tap access is not available. Water refills need to be requested and you may need to wait up to a day.
Sites are in open paddocks with some limited shade available. Dogs are allowed ONLY if kept on lead at all times.
Sites 1 & 2: Suitable for small/med vans, motorhomes, camper trailers and MINI-buses. Could fit 3 families if you're with a group.
Private site for your family/group only.
Site 3 (Families WITH children): Large area that can take all size vehicles including big rigs and full size buses.
This is a share site, so you may be sharing with other families (max 12 vans across 9 spots).
If you wish to book for a large group, book as early as possible.
Huge access gap into paddock, approx 15mtrs wide.
NOTE: If you are NOT travelling WITH CHILDREN please do NOT book this area!!
Site 4: For any sized vehicles. Suitable for up to 6 vans if camping with a group. This is a share site, so you may be sharing with others (max 6 vans across 4 spots)
If you wish to book for a group, book as early as possible. Access gap approx 10mtrs wide.
Campfires allowed in contained fire pits.
Important NOTE: This is a WORKING hobby farm. There are tyres and poles, sand piles, fencing projects underway, etc etc. There are also many free roaming animals - our friendly farm dog, the chooks, sheep and alpaca.. along with the horse!
If you are looking for manicured, super flat areas or have a fear of animals - this is NOT the place for you.
There are also a HUGE number of factors that can affect your stay that I have ZERO control over... The seasons change a lot of things throughout the course of the year: we have snakes (like ALL Aussie bush places) for most of the year; an assortment of insects, according to their seasons; varying growth stages of grasses - long, short, brown, green and sometimes grass seeds/prickles.. along with some crazy weather on occasion (high winds, high temps, storms) - NONE of which I have any control over.. so if you are a moaning myrtle and any of those things are likely to bother you, please don't come to our property... oh, and roosters - we have them too!
If you accept that you are staying on a working hobby farm and that I have no control over nature - then welcome, there is much beauty here for those who have the eyes to see - and as a base to explore the Perth area, we have a pretty convenient spot :)
