5 beautiful acres in the Swan Valley with horses, we run a horse rehoming charity from here where all proceeds from hipcamp go to support our facility. Along with plenty of horses, you'll also see kangaroos at certain times and our pet sheep Jamima who thinks she's a horse!
A superb property with a winter creek and an open paddock where the horses live. It's very peaceful. There are only two camping sites available on this wonderful property at any time so privacy is assured.
There is also a dam on the property so please mind any children with absent swimming abilities.
Campfires are allowed during the season, and there is a toilet and shower available in the shed 100 meters from the camping area.
Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. Please note, however, we offer a group camping option for larger groups but those booking this option must be fully self-contained as our facilities are not enough to support a large group.
We have a strict Leave No Trace policy here, we kindly ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave. We also ask that you please do not feed the horses.
The property is well located to access many great wineries and cafes in the famous Swan Valley area, some within walking distance.
Security here is taken care of by Mr security guard "aka" Smoky our pet dog. He's very safe and timid. If you get a pat from this boy I know you're good, so beware! We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. We may also be able to accommodate your horse - please discuss this with us prior to booking.

Easy access off the Forrest Freeway makes this a convenient and relaxing place to stay. Enjoy a lovely barista-made coffee at our farm stall, along with farm meats, great pies, and much more! Shop toilets are located 1 km away from the caravan site. There is currently no power, water, or toilets provided at the campsite, so you’ll need to be self-contained, but we plan to add amenities as we grow.
Book for a night or a few and enjoy the serenity and peace of being on a working farm. We have several local towns to explore during your stay—Pinjarra, Waroona, and Dwellingup are all just 15–30 minutes from our farm stall.
We’re a great location for travelers wanting a restful overnight stop or a quiet weekend while exploring nearby attractions. Perfect for families, on weekends we provide pony rides for kids at the shop between 9:30AM-1:30PM. There are also shop animals for the kids to see and feed to purchase for them.

Black Cockatoo Reserve, a naturally beautiful bushwalk, is only a 5-minute stroll away. It’s also an easy drive to several charming hills pubs, including Mount Helena Tavern, Mundaring Hotel, Mundaring Weir Hotel, Mahogany Inn, and Hemingway's. Wonderful cafés are located within a short walk, cycle, or drive.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome on a lead. We have free-ranging chickens and horses in the paddocks, so dogs must be kept under control around these animals. Pets are welcome to stay, provided they are respectful of all our animals. Our very friendly Kelpie, Millie, will be happy to make friends! Beautiful spot in amongst the fruit / nut / olive trees …close to both Mundaring for a decent coffee, and Sawyers Valley. Donna and her pup Milly were super-friendly and even gave us some free eggs from the chickens! …only 35-40 mins from Perth but felt like a lifetime away - heaven….and right on the doorstep of the Railway Heritage Trail, so we walked 5-6 kms with dogs each day. Would highly recommended this spot!

Sometimes you luck out. Dale's land is a sweet find. It is an open paddock with the horses milling around. It is dusty in the summer, but I was informed the paddock is green in the winter.
The facilities are slim, but a flush toilet, a campfire site in the non-fire season works for me.

Dale’s property makes for a great camp location. Very flat and plenty of variety for spots to set up under trees with shade but still exposed enough for solar. All the basic amenities you could need and a very relaxing vibe. Friendly/welcoming host - we would use again in the future.

Sensational views next to Lake Brockman, so a really convenient spot for boating, jet-skiing and swimming. We walked, swam and ate the whole weekend. Friendly host and large, well maintained private site…very pleasant (but expensive)

We had such a lovely stay at this Hipcamp spot. The place is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful – perfect if you’re looking to really unwind and enjoy nature. Waking up and being surrounded by plum trees was just magical.
The environment is very quiet and relaxing, and the friendly dog was such a sweet bonus, made us feel right at home. It’s the perfect spot to disconnect, breathe some fresh air and enjoy the simple things.
Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm, nature-filled getaway. We’d love to come back!

Amazing stay! We stayed at the Ocean View site and it was just as described - we felt very secluded and very much enjoyed the relaxing environment. Some Roos each evening and loads of stars. Thanks for a great stay, we’ll be back!

We had such a peaceful, relaxed stay, feels so private and secluded, but still close to the local shops. Hosts are friendly and welcoming, the animals are lovely, the space is awesome. The Sheep shed is perfect for bigger set-up, you will need to level, the orchard would suit smaller set up and is flatter. Great 4 night stay, highly recommend

We really enjoyed our stay at Dale’s due to: welcoming host; being immersed with well cared for and respected domestic animals (horses, sheep, dogs): reflected in their calm nature; limited number of campers; natural shading by established trees; basic but adequate bathroom facilities; central location -access to Swan Valley attractions, shopping, highways, public transport, Whiteman Park (great for families as has free waterpark, playgrounds, basketball courts, tram rides (free for 2025), train rides, museums, cafe, large shaded lawns, natural bushland with native animals, cycling and walking paths and trails). Whilst there is some airtraffic noise at peak morning and evening times, this didn’t impact negatively on our stay; night air cooled; stars shone brightly; minimal ambient noise all made for 3 very restful nights stay. We would not hesitate to stay again.
