There are horses and Scottish Highland cattle that usually greet you near the main entrance, and sheep and cattle graze the hill country and surrounds.
Plenty more for nature lovers here, including red-tailed cockatoos that flock to the gully to feed on the Marri trees, plus many other birds.
The resident Wedge-tail eagles soar above making the most of the thermals created from the hills and the local kangaroos
Dogs are welcome but must remain on leads at ALL times as this is a working farm.
You MUST bring your own camping toilet and be COMPLETELY 100% self sufficient with everything including drinking water
We have a Leave No Trace policy, so ask that you please take all waste with you.

What a lovely site, even though it was not green as it was summer, it is still lovely. Especially at night with the stars. The site is pretty with trees and the friendly animals. Alisons rustic toilet and shower set up was fantastic and so appreciated. Starring at the stars while showering was magical. The fact that you get the site to yourself is even better. 5 mins from town makes it so convenient. 10 mins to lane poole for kayaking, hiking and swimming. If you do go in summer, be prepared for March flies, but the Dettol and water (or baby oil) mix we used worked well to determine them. We are looking forward to visiting in spring so we can enjoy the countryside in spring and a beautiful camp fire. Thank you Alison

Had a stay at Mac's, nice and peaceful and in the trees so had some shade. We arrived late, but Mac was happy to accommodate and actually gifted us a whole local watermelon 🍉 on arrival which was very nice. Would come again for sure, there are a few spots but we were happy to have the paddock to ourselves this weekend. Must be fully self contained as a note. 🙏

Beautiful site, super peaceful. Has everything you need, we just wanted a quick overnight camp from Perth for a bit of a break and this was perfect. BBQ and facilities provided are great but rustic so still feels like you're camping. Perfect location just outside of town and near national park. Could certainly while away some hours here.

Beautiful campsite with lovely views and a great sense of space. The proximity to the city is a real bonus, and there are excellent trails nearby for walking and exploring. It can get a bit windy at times, but that’s a small trade-off for such an open, scenic location. Would happily stay again.

We had a lovely stay at The Outback Site 8. Tracey gave very clear instructions and we parked up our 10m caravan with some lovely views and bush surroundings. The Thunderbox was close by and we appreciated the bench seat to sit and watch the sunset. Thank you Tracey!

Our family cant recommend this site highly enough. Alison and Rob were incredible hosts, the site is lovely and has incredible services (including possibly Australia's best camp shower!) and the kids had an amazing time with all of the birds and animals on the farm. We will definitely be return campers!

Loved coming here.
It was so nice and chill, so we could get away but not too far away from home.
The stars were great, cute little bush walk.
The sites were close but far enough away that it didn't feel like you were sitting on top of each other.
Toilet was clean and topped up with toilet paper.

Lovely time camping at Yarrabah High Country farm. Stunning views and perfect for stargazing. Sunset was beautiful from our site on the camp. Toilet onsite was an added bonus. Not too windy whilst we stayed and was lovely to watch some wild kangaroos go past one morning. Thank you to the hosts!

The site was a nice shady spot at the front of the property. We didn't get a chance to meet the owners. We went on a busy weekend so the site was pretty popular +10 groups. Otherwise a good spot to stop and explore the area. The toilet was a nice and clean portaloo.

The site itself, with a max 7 camp guests on a huge, well maintained and secluded field off the main road is perfect for people who like some space. Having a portaloo was very handy and kept in great condition. My kids loved it and we will definitely come back soon. Thanks Dan
