5 beautiful acres in the Swan Valley with horses, we run a horse rehoming charity from here where all proceeds from hipcamp go to support our facility. Along with plenty of horses, you'll also see kangaroos at certain times and our pet sheep Jamima who thinks she's a horse!
A superb property with a winter creek and an open paddock where the horses live. It's very peaceful. There are only two camping sites available on this wonderful property at any time so privacy is assured.
There is also a dam on the property so please mind any children with absent swimming abilities.
Campfires are allowed during the season, and there is a toilet and shower available in the shed 100 meters from the camping area.
Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. Please note, however, we offer a group camping option for larger groups but those booking this option must be fully self-contained as our facilities are not enough to support a large group.
We have a strict Leave No Trace policy here, we kindly ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave. We also ask that you please do not feed the horses.
The property is well located to access many great wineries and cafes in the famous Swan Valley area, some within walking distance.
Security here is taken care of by Mr security guard "aka" Smoky our pet dog. He's very safe and timid. If you get a pat from this boy I know you're good, so beware! We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. We may also be able to accommodate your horse - please discuss this with us prior to booking.

It’s also an easy drive to several charming hills pubs, including Mount Helena Tavern, Mundaring Hotel, Mundaring Weir Hotel, Mahogany Inn, and Hemingway's. Wonderful cafés are located within a short walk, cycle, or drive.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome on a lead. We have free-ranging chickens and horses in the paddocks, so dogs must be kept under control around these animals. Pets are welcome to stay, provided they are respectful of all our animals. Our very friendly Kelpie, Millie, will be happy to make friends! This farm is for the caravaners only no tents or swags, small pets allowed but must be kept close and not roaming free.
There are 3 dams close to where you’ll be camping and are not fenced off, so if you’re bringing the kids please be aware of this.
There is a strict - no driving around the property rule as there are other occupants on the property aswell as dry grass. And please by all means if you want to take a walk through the bush then that is absolutely allowed and encouraged, but please do so by using the fire break along the fence line for accessing the state forest and taking that Mundi biddi trail experience.
If the bush walk isn’t for you then laying back watching the kangaroos admiring the beautiful valley views and taking all the serenity of the Forrest in is another option.
These sites require full self contained vans with dumping points available in town. Power and wifi is also available for an additional $10 a per/day
There is bore water available at the camp site and although it’s clean and we use the same water- it is unfiltered.
There is also a small fire pit available but only for the cooler months.

It was a very convenient location for visiting the Swan valley. It was also very quiet, only some noise from planes but not disruptive to us. Plenty of space. 2 very friendly dogs and the horses were lovely to be around. Some shade and a few places to sit. Simple but perfect for us.

This property truly is peaceful. We were welcomed at the paddock gate by one of the beautiful, friendly resident dogs, so we were delighted from the start. It was very warm, but we found a lovely big tree for shade, in the very large paddock. The horses in the paddock were very friendly and gentle, and our puppy had a wonderful time making friends with the 2 affectionate dogs. Dale and his dad were very easy going and welcoming too, and made us feel right at home. We’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely loved this Hipcamp! Plenty of space, nice grassed area, very easy to access, close to town but had that remote bush block vibe. Super peaceful and relaxing. Amazing bird life. Great spot with easy access to flat grassed area. Plenty of sun to keep the battery charged throughout the day and late afternoon shade with cool breeze. Few minutes drive to the Fwy in a quiet and secure area. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Awesome experience, thank you Ed, the two nights that we stayed were so peaceful, a great short break that we would love to return again and again. Absolutely loved this place! Beautiful surroundings, friendly dogs and a nice breeze, right what we needed. Hosts are super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Wish we stayed longer and would definitely visit again.
