We offer potable water and a pristine natural setting, but we kindly ask that you bring everything you'll need to remain self-sufficient, however we now have a portaloo available for use. Located just 15 minutes from Geraldton and its beautiful beaches, Hill River Farm is far enough away to immerse yourself in nature’s tranquility and safety and security that being rural entails. Animals, bikes, canoes, walking and swimming. This property features paddocks with shady trees. Situated close to the river. The beach is a short drive away. Horses and small animal experience available, ask on arrival. I recommend booking a walk with the horses the river for an hour. This campsite has access to a beautiful toilet/hot shower and drinking water supply in the workshop. There is also an outdoor shower in a water tank surround and an outside bath heated by a fire. Small camp kitchen with coffee machine, fridge, sink and bench also in the workshop. Large outdoor movie screen, we generally screen family movies on Saturday night among the gum trees and strings of lighting. Please enquire if you are interested. Campfires and bonfires permitted in winter. No fire from October to May. While you're here check out the Greenough walk and cycle track that follows the river. It's only 3km to the beach, and you can walk or take your bike there (bike hire is available in town). We have canoes. Greenough Settlement/café and Wild Life Park close by. Pets welcome on a lead. Off lead welcome after we had met and chatted. Dogs are a danger to all horses, guinea pigs, rabbits and chickens. Off lead without consultation will not be tolerated. Please enter Devlin Pool Rd at the Northern end where it meets Jandanol Rd. We are the 3rd driveway.

A convenient location that’s only 7 minutes from the beach and town of Geraldton. We welcome self-contained campers of all sizes onto our flat, grassy block of land. Create a sanctuary under the established gum trees, nestled amongst the birds and our friendly sheep. The land is fully fenced, has it’s own gate entry and plenty of space for you to set up wherever you choose. We are open to pets, and if need be, the sheep can be moved to our other paddock to ensure the safety and comfort for all animals. The Humble Abode is the home of the owners, an adventurous toddler, our new baby and our two friendly dogs (who will likely do their job and bark on your arrival). This part of our land is sectioned off and not open to the public. *** A SEASONAL NOTICE *** During the winter months, our land is lush and green. During our dry season, the land will reflect as so. Please be mindful of expectations when booking in the harsher, hotter seasons. We are proudly organic and tend to the regeneration of our land seasonally.

This property was owned by an Italian family who came to Australia in the 30's. We bought the house in Aug 2021 and fell instantly in love with it and all its quirkiness. The original cottage is still on site and is a long term renovation project for us, it may be old but holds lots and lots of history behind them walls. The verandah area is yours to use, if you wish, for a bit of extra room to escape the rain or provide a bit of shade (depending on season) it has a powerpoint and light for your convenience. Unfortunately, as there are building works happening at the back of the cottage we have closed access to the toilet area for your safety at this time.

Would highly recommend stopping at this beautiful place. I arrived to a warm welcome from Sara, she was very accommodating and understanding as she helped me settle in. The place was beautiful with heaps of room for for families and a walk away from the river . I got to park near the horses and the pony , too cute 😊 Thank you Sara for making me feel welcome 🙏

Just as described in the ad. Easy to find, a quiet field next to the owners property. The dogs were fine, didn’t bother us at all - they were more interested in the neighbours dog. Didn’t meet the host as we arrived around 7pm and left at 5am. Trees creating shade and a few swings hanging in the trees. A lovely place, would visit again and recommend. Thanks

We really enjoyed the relaxed, secluded powered site beneath a huge shady tree, and our dog was very reluctant to leave after a two night stay. The spacious sites are level and mostly covered in grass, we were lucky to have the whole area to ourselves. Despite some traffic noise, the wandering chickens created a countryside atmosphere.

We had a fantastic stay at Hill River Farm. We had plenty of space and privacy and the setting was really peaceful. The grounds and toilet are kept immaculate and Anita has been a fantastic host! This is a great spot to base yourself if you’re visiting Geraldton but want some serenity. Our dog travelled with us and there was lots of room for him to play.
