The camp is in a sandy field but it was spacious and had shade. There are animals around which are fun to watch and we bought free range eggs from the host. It was very quiet but we enjoyed interacting with Marie the host, who was very friendly and helpful. The tavern in the town is walking distance

Great open space to setup. Great location to visit Cape Le grand beaches etc. Shiela (host) is very responsive and helpful. Driveway into property is a bet sketchy, we towed an all terrain 17ft pop top caravan through it fine but slow. Would definitely stay again. Getting rid of rubbish is the only small downside, would pay more per night to have rubbish bins available but that is a small inconvenience to mention.

Very friendly people, unfortunately couldn’t fit our big rig in the site.
8m long Hino truck towing 10m long caravan.
Refund given straight away.
Will come back one day without the kids, and the smaller van!

Loved our stay here! Site 5 was so private and peaceful. You have the ability to park on a hill section with more of a view in the shade or just below for full sun. Lots of flat ground. No issues with access. Great for the dogs too. It was a 30 min drive into Esperance and to the national park. Perfect place in the middle. Thanks for having us!

Arrived just as owner was leaving - no guidance beyond pull up out back. Went to look for restrooms and there was no apparent signage though one sign did warn to stay from window main house, therefore I left that alone. Would have been more useful to have been told where facilities were beyond drive out back

We loved our stay! After staying at the RAC in Esperance for a week with our two kids we were so happy to get away from being squeezed in amongst so many people and to have our own space.
Maria is so lovely and hospitable as was her permanent camper Rod.
Kids loved being amongst the chickens, geese, sheep and dogs. We would definitely come back and stay next time we are in the area. Tavern around the corner and very good proximity to Whartons beach. This was our favourite beach out of the whole Esperance region, kids sand boarded, beaches pristine, absolute paradise

This is a great place to explore Cape Arid from or visit some of the local beaches. Marie is a lovely host, very friendly.
Obviously you need to be sel contained and have enough water for your stay.
The local Tavern is a cafe and restaurant and the food was really good. You can also get diesel there and fill up your water tanks, $5 /100L.

Wonderful secluded campsite. Camp location is halfway between Esperance and Cape Le Grand. Highly recommend. Communication with Sheila was quick and easy. Sheila met us when we arrived and gave us some recommendations of what to see in the National Park. Will certainly be back.

Quiet and peaceful setting with sites spaced well apart. As long as one realises and accepts you must be fully self contained, the site was great. Proximity to Cape Le Grande was a real plus.
Sheila was very good at checking you could find the place, and once there in locating your site.
Would recommend to anyone.
