Deepdene Farmstay is a beautiful rural property with a fabulous view! We have a number of unpowered camp sites located approximately 5 minutes drive from Augusta, which offers a number of tourist attractions and great fishing spots. We are also located a short 800m from Jewel Cave, which is a very popular tourist attraction and café. Our campsites overlook paddocks of cows and horses, with a lovely breeze and a number of large trees to offer shade in the summer, while being protected from the harsh winds in winter. If you are pretty much self contained and would like to camp out away from the hustle and bustle, in a tranquil and peaceful setting...then this is for you. However, if you like life's luxuries, then this won't be your cup of tea. One of the reviews said nice but a bit wild, I think they must be used to caravan parks or something. We try our best to fit in with the environment, so we have a couple of compost toilets and solar showers (for private not public use, for more info on this, please enquire ) and compost and recycling bins to try and do our bit. Dogs are permitted but this is a working farm with livestock so uncontrolled dogs chasing wildlife or stock which cant be controlled will be dealt with as needed including euthanised. If its hard to control don't bring it please!

Campers need to be fully self contained. We are a biodynamic winery and farm, our vines were already established when we purchased the land just over 3 years ago and some of the first planted in the region. The farm is a working farm and well.. a massive work in progress. Our passion is the land, the environment, making good wine, listening to music, eating good food and sharing all of this with our community. We are opening up our farm to share with like minded souls who share the same passions as us (our community). Over the years we have started to learn about the secret spots on our property. The ones which are secluded, capture beautiful pieces of light at certain times of the day, where the black cockatoos love to rest on the branches of the gum trees, the areas where weeping peppermints create a haven and the frequencies of the frogs elevate at certain times of the year and times of the day are so loud that you cant hear yourself think. As a result we have several spots on our property we would love to share with like minded people who have a love for nature, music and wine. PLEASE BE AWARE WE HAVE NO FACILITIES such as toilets, showers and water. Our region 'Margaret River' is famous for wine but there are so many other things that make this place special. A wild but beautiful coastline uninhibited by people, karri forest, caves, mountain bike trails and a 120km coastal walk. We are also known for surfing and close by are a number of world famous breaks including Surfers Point which is located 20 minutes from the farm. Closer to the farm you can enjoy a short walk to a beautiful winery called SI Vintners, drive to The Berry Farm or the quirky town of Witchcliffe. At Witchcliffe you will find Darnell's General Store which has a gift shop (The Shed), cellar door (Amato Vino), coffee shop (Witchy Brews) and fantastic pub (Dear Darnells), newly opened McHenry Hohnen Vintners wine bar and vintage stores which it has become renown for.

68-acre peaceful retreat nestled within State Forest, a short drive from Donnybrook. We are one of only two properties in this small, isolated pocket. We have five sites available for self-contained campers. We do not offer any facilities. Self-contained campers/vans only, you MUST bring everything with you including a toilet. Stay here and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of your surroundings over a glass of wine from one of the local wineries or head out and explore the beautiful Geographe Wine Region. Redgum Hill Nestled in amongst the red gums on an elevated position near the edge of the property, you will be camping next to the old hay shed. The birdlife here is amazing, with red tailed cockatoos and honeyeaters amongst others frequently visiting. Please take care whilst exploring around this area, there are some deep rabbit warrens around the hay shed, which can be hidden in the grass in winter. Valley Vista Valley Vista is a private and secluded haven, on an elevated spot backed onto state forest looking down over the valley, with arguably the best views of the farm. Creek Junction Creek Junction is a peaceful area by the creek line nestled in amongst the trees, where the gully running down the hill meets the creek. One of our three dams is hidden in amongst the tea tree bushes nearby. You can see the house from this campsite, but it is far enough away that privacy is not an issue. Please be aware, all of our dams are seasonal and will be very low in the summer months. We also recommend that you do not swim in them. Hidden Corner Hidden Corner is situated at the back corner of the property. It is the most isolated of the three campsites with views of the open paddock and across the valley in front of you and state forest behind. Shed Pad (No longer has bathroom facilities) Shed Pad is our only powered site (15 amp) situated next to the main shed. It has a patio area with a table and 4 chairs (an extra 2 can be provided if required). WIFI is also available for an additional fee. It is an intimate site, perfect for one large caravan or two small caravans and a couple of swags/tents. It overlooks neighbouring paddocks and state forest. it is at the entrance to the property next to the main shed and in close proximity to the house.

Bush blocks located in the central of all the south west goodies, 20 minutes from any great spot. Good to plan your days instead of going one way and coming back, relax in the bush and spot native wildlife. Sometimes we get Roos cruising through our bush as the neighbourhood like to feed them. The property is the first right just off the Bussellton Highway, the sound of the highway isn’t as bad as expected, the highway goes through a man made valley/gully and we are on a hill. There are no facilities here, campers need to be self sufficient. Strictly no fires. Fire ban is in affect. Please take all rubbish even if there is an accident, respect other people’s privacy try create space for others to come and enjoy the same way you have. If your vehicle fits in the bush we would prefer you to camp there as opposed to the open paddock. With a red cone near the gate please stay to the right STRICTLY NO FIRES OR OPEN FLAMES. Clean up you own rubbish, including toilet paper.

We offer a quiet retreat 5kms up Sandhills Road with a winter brook and peaceful meadows on a country farm set in the beautiful Brookhampton Valley 9kms from Donnybrook and close to many local attractions and wineries with the towns of Bunbury ,Donnybrook,Balingup,Bridgetown and Collie within a pleasant afternoons drive plus the Bibbulum trails are easily accessed. There is an artists studio on the property with the main woodfired salt glazing pottery kiln being fired once or twice a year. We welcome visitors to the studio so if you would like a visit just ask us We often have our own eggs, honey, fruit and farm produce for sale. There is grey water available for topping your tanks up There are brochures in the studio for more information on the local attractions. We do have some rules to follow : NO DOGS OR OTHER PETS permitted NO CHILDREN FENCES are live so no ropes to be attached to them There is a dump site for portable toilets at 20 Reserve Street Donnybrook. Greywater can be released onto the paddock. We have an eco toilet available so please do not put any foreign matter down it PLEASE do not feed the animals or enter other areas on the farm without permission All camping must be undertaken in the designated camping area There is a 10pm curfew - no arrivals to the Camp will be allowed after dark so if you cannot arrive before dark please book for the next day. Entry to the property is via a farm gate which must be opened and shut behind you For Entry : Drive all the way to the end of the gravel drive go past the main house gate (a large wooden gate) keep going down the track to the farm gate -open and shut it behind you always -line up straight to the bridge and drive straight across it and into the hipcamp We have camping available during the music festival at Newlands in the New Year Brookhampton Blues in February and Easter for the Donnybrook Apple Festival plus the TOMR bike race at the end of October as well as throughout the year depending on the weather

We had a wonderful time camping here with Murray and Marilyn!!! Such a nice area and such lovely hosts. There is loads of space to camp, with lots of animals such as horse and goats to wander round to see. The location is ideal as it is quiet and peaceful but not too far removed from the local towns of Nannup and Greenbushes. 10/10 stay!!!!

Their grounds are level and very well looked after, a yummy fruit orchard you can pick yourself for a gold coin donation and a brand new toilet facility. Great space to park up for the night and camp. Camp toilet was a drop toilet with sawdust and was very usable, camp shower was surprisingly good, got warm quickly and stayed warm for the majority of a shower. Shared kitchen space with basic appliances + cleaning facilities, we didn't make use of this other than to wash our dishes but it would do the trick. Shared campground with others but more than enough room to have your own space. Great views into a couple of paddocks, where we saw a kangaroo one evening at dusk. Perfectly located along Caves Rd to explore Lake, Jewel and Mammoth Caves if these are on your itinerary. Great swim spot down the road in Augusta called Granny's Pool with BBQ facilities and a small park. Overall a really positive experience.

We had a fantastic stay here. Amenities were great and the kids were entertained by the animals and we all enjoyed the trail around the property. A big open paddock for our dog to run free. A quick drive to town but far enough that you're out of the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at this camp - it just may have gone to the top of our favourites list ! It is just so peaceful and relaxing, listening to the cicadas and birds, with the occasional sheep. Beautiful spot we had near the creek bed, next to the trees. Great spot for our dog as well. Was private and perfect for us. Mick is very friendly and warm, and also provided a great folder (returnable) with all the local attractions around the area. Brilliant. Short drive to Capel and Donnybrook, and a nice drive to Forrest Beach for some saltwater therapy. Definitely recommend a stay at Amber Ridge. We will be back for sure!

We loved staying at the tiny house which had everything we needed even though we brought some of our camping stuff too. The bed has very comfortable and it was super cosy at night. A lot more room than expected! The farm and the facilities are beautiful and we would come back! PS very central!

Had a fabulous 8 day stay over Xmas. Nice site under the peppermint tree overlooking farmland. Good location being only 5km from Augusta, 30mins to Margaret River and the beautiful Hamelin Bay is close by. Highly recommended for your stay.if in the area. Thanks for sharing your farm.
