We have the Great Southern Rail Trail just on our door step. It has now been completed from Nyora all the way through to Yarram. We have on of the entrances off Lanes Road.

Our camp sites have plenty of room we don't believe in cramming too many campers on the same site, you have plenty of space.

Sites 1 - 2 situated in a 4 acre paddock on the main farm. Perfect for small camper vans, roof top tents and motor homes.
Site 3-5 situated on part of a 7 acre paddock with views of the hills and of the kangaroos that come onto the paddocks of a night out of the Alberton West State Forest. This site is perfect for larger vans, RV's, camper vans, roof top tents, motor homes.
Campfires are permitted (When there are no fire bans). No loud music, bring a camping toilet with you and take all rubbish with you.
You'll need to have your own amenities/be FULLY- self contained however if you don't have your own toilet, camp shower or fire pit you can hire them.
We have an abundance of native birds on our property. Rosella's, Kookaburras, Wedge Tail Eagles and sometimes Galah's. Just down the paddock on dawn and dusk we have a mob of kangaroos that come out of the bush to graze.

If this sounds like something you'd like, please book at least 7 days in advance as the heating will Be turned on 48 hours before your arrival.
WEDDING PARTIES, PHOTOGRAPHY, EXTRA VISITORS:
We enjoy hosting brides-to-be and love the photos that are taken, but there are some things to note;
• Use of our property for wedding photos or any photo shoots costs $250 for up to 2 hours
• There are a maximum of 10 additional visitors allowed including photographer, hair/makeup, videographer
• Guests names and vehicle license plates must be registered with Wilindi Estate owner via email
• There are 3 additional cars allowed on the property only
• Extra guests must ask permission to use the facilities including, but not limited to, pool, play equipment, barn
• Extra guests are not allowed to interact with the animals

Site 3-5 situated on part of a 7 acre paddock with views of the hills and of the kangaroos that come onto the paddocks of a night out of the Alberton West State Forest. This site is perfect for larger vans, RV's, camper vans, roof top tents, motor homes.
Campfires are permitted (When there are no fire bans). No loud music, bring a camping toilet with you and take all rubbish with you.
You'll need to have your own amenities/be FULLY- self contained however if you don't have your own toilet, camp shower or fire pit you can hire them.
We have an abundance of native birds on our property. Rosella's, Kookaburras, Wedge Tail Eagles and sometimes Galah's. Just down the paddock on dawn and dusk we have a mob of kangaroos that come out of the bush to graze.

If the outside temperature is below 25 or there hasn't been allot of sun, solar heating is usually not enough for a comfortable swim. We can use the electrical heating and the additional charge is $90 per day to guarantee a heated pool from 26-32 degrees. If this sounds like something you'd like, please book at least 7 days in advance as the heating will Be turned on 48 hours before your arrival.
WEDDING PARTIES, PHOTOGRAPHY, EXTRA VISITORS:
We enjoy hosting brides-to-be and love the photos that are taken, but there are some things to note;
• Use of our property for wedding photos or any photo shoots costs $250 for up to 2 hours
• There are a maximum of 10 additional visitors allowed including photographer, hair/makeup, videographer
• Guests names and vehicle license plates must be registered with Wilindi Estate owner via email
• There are 3 additional cars allowed on the property only

What a lovely quiet and relaxing place to stay. Lovely seeing the cows drift past and next to no noise. The property is a well maintained paddock, with plenty of room between sites and good access. We had a day down at Wilson’s Prom and this camp was so handy for that.

Helens property is lovely, as it was a long weekend it actually felt like an unpowered caravan park site without amenities, it had almost double the amount of vans/tents than the ad stated ( eg. 13 sites, but over 20 vans etc ) so not a lot of room between campersNot really my liking of a hipcamp feel this time.
Would I return on another weekend ( not public holiday ) absolutely, would love to come back.

We had a wonderful stay on Brooke’s property! It was peaceful, private, and well appointed with a fire pit, 4 stumps for seats/foot rests, a swing for kiddos, picnic table, recycling and waste bins, and optional water refill. The land is beautiful and had a short walk to the paddock through the bushes where we saw lots of kangaroos and had a bench to enjoy the scenery.
Brooke was very accommodating and let our daughters collect some of the eggs we had purchased (which were delicious!) and gave us some things from her garden to try~ Perfect place to explore Inverloch town center and the local natural wonders. Also a great spot to launch for a day trip to Wilson’s Prom which is only ~1hr away.

My husband and I spent last weekend at Bayview Farm on French Island, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. John and Liz are the most incredible hosts who have created a sanctuary that is truly one-of-a-kind.
The biggest surprise was the animals! Their marketing doesn't even mention them yet, but it was the highlight of our trip. They have three emus, two kangaroos, four horses, dozens of birds, a white peacock, nine dogs, two black swans, mandarin ducks, and three deer. Watching the two-month-old foal following her mom and playing with her sister was magical.
A standout was the baby deer that John bottle-fed; it follows them everywhere just like a toddler! These animals are so well-loved and friendly—once they know you're kind, they’re happy to be hugged and petted. John explained they haven't updated their marketing because their priority was the safe relocation and well-being of the animals after moving to the island a year ago. Seeing the way they look at and speak to their animals, you can tell their love is 100% genuine.
Traveler’s Tip: We didn't realize how essential a bike is on the island, and we felt quite stranded without transport. Despite our short stay, John and Liz went above and beyond, driving us to the beach, the winery, and the ferry. We felt so bad for the trouble, but they were incredibly patient and kind.
We will definitely be back, if only just to see John, Liz, and their beautiful animal family again.

We stayed 5 days in our tent near the dam. We had our own shower and power. The gardens are spectacular and immaculate. Simply a beautiful spot to camp. Helen manages everything to a very high standard. We bought firewood from Helen for a fire which just added to a great camping experience. I would place this Hipcamp up with the best of them. We enjoy bike riding and the Grand Ridge Rail trail a great ride. Starts at Mirboo North. South Gippsland has many attractions. Helen works very hard to ensure the property is well presented and your stay is enjoyable. There is a shower and toilet on the property for a small fee. One site you can access power for a small fee. Mirboo North about 4K away. Everything you need is there We loved our stay and will be back

Originally booked 1 night just needing somewhere to stay with my doggoes, due to having to be in the area the next day for something that came up at short notice. Arrived very late that night but no hassle finding the place due to the host's very clear and helpful instructions. I liked the camp site so much I booked a 2nd night so I could have a little time enjoying the place - quiet, peaceful and private, with a picnic table, fire-pit, beautiful surroundings and plenty of wildlife, etc... it was way to nice just to use as a quick stopover! My friend Emily and I had the best camping trip at Bayview Camping Jaswar’s Paradise!
The site was private, enclosed and had a beautiful view of the horses. John and Liz were kind, attentive and made us feel welcome - they happily helped transport us between the jetty and the general store, and even dropped off some much needed medication we’d forgotten. We were very lucky to meet their 130+ animals, pat the horses and pick some of their blackberries. Highly recommend staying here for a peaceful getaway not far from Melbourne.

For first time tent campers, this was a perfect spot. The atmosphere was great, toilet was clean, and the 5 min drive away from the beach was the cherry on top. 10/10!
As for the hosts, they’re superb. Their instructions to finding the area and using the facilities were very clear, and they even gave a heads up for us regarding the weather which we think is very thoughtful of them. They even moved us to a safer spot just because it was windy.
