This was our second 🦊 Camp for our end of year celebrations at this spot.
Great choicec once again. Secluded, quiet, well set out campsite to be able support a group of young guys have a great time to blow off a little steam at the end of a very busy year.
BBQ'ing, swimming in the fantastic billabong, camp fires, beer, whiskey, music, impromptu cricket match and lots of laughs were had by all.
Thanks once again to our host Michael for allowing us to utilise his property once again.

We loved camping at the Boulder Brook Valley. Beautiful nature so close to the city. Nice setup, with flowing water, and the pergola was very handy. The planes didn't really bother us.

We loved camping at the Secret Garden (16 mates plus a dog!, all tent camping). So close to the city but with a secluded kind of vibe. Flat ground for tents was limited but we all made do just fine. The area and grounds are lovely and well maintained. BBQ and tables worked a treat. We didn't end up using any power on site so cannot comment but there was solar and a battery on site. The owner was extremely helpful in the lead up and very accomodating. Sunsets and plane spotting were fantastic. It was still a little chilly for us to get in the water but the spot itself was stunning. We'll be back!

A unique remote location but you are still close to Melbourne.
Plenty of space for a large group to camp and still have private space if they choose.
It's a really cool place but will only stay that way if we look after it.
A good camping motto is: "Always leave the campsite better than you found it".

This site really is spectacular. For nature lovers like us this was a hidden oasis. A lovely hut overlooked the river and lots of billabongs and creeks to explore. It was unfortunate that the previous campers who were there when we arrived and were reluctant to leave despite us coming a hour after our check in time had also drained the battery and gas bottle as well as learning human waste and toilet paper around. The owner was lovely and responsive but we were without power or gas for the night so I would recommend bringing backup. We still had a great evening the fire pits are well placed near the hut and lots of fallen branches around for kindling. We will definitely be back ❤️

Returning for my 2nd stay. The proximity to Melbournes suburbs is amazing. I love that authentic bush camping vibes can be achieved so close to home allowing for more time to unwind rather then time spent on the road getting to/from camp. I will be returning again 😁

This place is great. Easy run from the city, perfect block for our pooches to run around and great access to the river and billabong below camp. The pagola is a great addition for when you need to get out of the weather. Michael was friendly and helpful. Will definitely be coming back.

Weekend Trip to The Stables On Knox
We had a wonderful stay at The Stables on Knox!
We came to take maternity photos and the property was perfect – beautiful scenery, a cute cozy house, and lots of photogenic spots inside and out. The fireplace made it extra relaxing too 😊
Some things to note: the BBQ and pizza oven in the barn were quite dirty so we didn’t use them, and the coffee machine was broken. Also, we were woken up early by a possum scratching on the roof – a true country experience, but something to keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper!
Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely recommend it!

Really wonderful weekend escape. My partner and puppy and I enjoyed a farm stay here at Anne Maree's cute cabin. It had everything we needed and was easy to find, the farm grounds are huge and we couldn't even manage to walk the whole property! Friendly dogs on the farm that would visit us. The cabin it Esse was lovely and well presented, heating, comfy bed, kitchen with everything needed and am amazing bathroom with rain shower. The jacuzzi looked lovely but it was raining the entire stay, and it was not working anyway(the owner was extremely apologetic about this, and made up for it, by offering other alternatives and also made us home made scones, lamb shank soup and some other goodies, she didn't need to do this however Anne Maree was lovely and a proper host) this made us feel so comfortable and welcome and we already want to go back!! Hoping the rain is not there and the jacuzzi is fixed the next time we are there, Thankyou Ann Maree for a wonderful stay

This was our second time back in less than a year and we’ll be back again for sure! The gazebo meant that even with some bad weather we still had an awesome time. Such a beautiful property and clear instructions from the host make me it an easy getaway

Close to Melbourne, 10 mins from Tullermarine airport in a great setting. Perfect for a private tranquil getaway in great surroundings. Was absolutely perfect for our 2 dogs to roam around off leash as their first camping experience. Close to a river which would be great when flowing or in summer for swimming

Great spot. Nice set up. Private and lovely. A little tricky to navigate your way to the site.
Was hard to find a level spot for the caravan but made do. Bring your own firewood.
Had a great stay and looking forward to going back.

We loved our stay - we couldn’t believe how far away it felt yet so close to Melbourne. Truely a secret oasis. Great directions and communication from Michael. The gazebo and amenities were excellent. Loved the hammock too. Went for a swim and watched a beautiful sunset over the hills.

Weekend Trip to Weemalah Cabin & Camping
Had the most serendipitous weekend at Anne-mare’s campsite, it exceeded already very high expectations.
The creek is stunning, and so fun for swimming, paddling floating, jumping off the rocks and (attempted) fishing.
The landscape is so beautiful, plenty of space for camping and so much to explore.
We also booked the cabin which was beautiful and the jacuzzi looking out on to the fields was such a delight!!
Anne-maree met us at the gate and was super lovely and comprehensive showing us around and being available if we needed.
Would 100% go back here!!
