The Roseneath Caravan Park is located in the beautiful, scenic Gippsland area, on the sandy, South East shore of Lake Wellington. This family and pet friendly caravan park offers a real bush experience, being located in the tranquil bushlands of Meerileu.
Experience fabulous fishing, boating and swimming. Fishing is a lot of fun and good catches of Bream, Mullet, Flathead, and Carp can be had. Fishing on the lake is great from the shore or a boat. Hollands Landing boat ramp is only a short drive from the park.
You can relax with 10km of sandy, child friendly swimming beach on beautiful Lake Wellington. Enjoy the lake's clean, safe swimming conditions, which are ideal for yachting, canoeing, kayaking, jet skiing, and boating. Or take a long, lazy stroll along one of our many walking tracks or along the water's edge. You can also bring your pushbikes and enjoy one of the many bike tracks. The park is pet friendly and ponies and horses have a large paddock with clean water if you wish to bring them along and saddle up for some excellent trail riding.
Get back to nature with some native flora and fauna spotting. Abundant wildlife includes rare Sea Eagles, Wedge Tail Eagles, friendly Parrots, and Rosellas. Wombats, Kangaroos, Wallabies, Rabbits, and Echidnas are easily found and large bush possums are everywhere and are easily hand-fed and friendly. Groups of Hog Deer are seen occasionally as they are fairly timid.
We are located between Bairnsdale and Sale. The Park is set on 174 acres of peaceful bushland, including Banksia, Red Gum, White Gum, and ancient River Gum forest. The Park offers both powered and unpowered sites, a communal lounge, separate accommodation, modern toilet facilities, sheltered BBQs as well as a camp kitchen. The park also offers a swimming pool and tennis court.

Licola is a small and attractive village beside the Macalister River, 254 kilometers east of Melbourne. Licola is a great place to use as a base camp for you to 4wd, Hike, Mountain bike, motorbike and canoeing in high country. We offer accommodation in the form of Houses that consist of 3 to 4 bedrooms all with kitchenette, toilets and showers. Each house can sleep from 18 to 20 people in bunk style accommodation. This was a very quiet out of the way spot with lovely views over the paddocks to the hills. The Love Shack was used by my son and his wife who has never camped before. Felt it was a good way to ease her into camping. Plenty of room for our caravan and large tent for the rest of our family members. Yarram was a short drive away. Was great to be on short lush grass and no real ant problems. Although in saying this, there was a huge nest on the corner of the verandah of the Love Shack. Great camp kitchen area and table and chairs to use all under cover. Designated outside fire but not used this trip due to the extreme weather. Overall we all thoroughly enjoyed this location and would go back. The hosts introduced themselves and then kept to themselves. Would recommend this location for a family event.

It’s a great set up for dogs and kids. So much space and fresh air! We had a lovely 3 nights with 3 generations and 2 dogs. The love shack and add-on facilities are very rustic, but that is what we were expecting as accurrsye. is reflected by the price. Kate made some great suggestions for activities.

My partner and I had a wonderful time at the Love Shack, one of those places that makes you want to extend your stay and come again. The scenery was beautiful and the amenities were plenty! We camped on the grass with a tent and it rained our last night but the ground stayed solid and not muddy, helpful for when we were packing up. Will definitely return again hopefully with friends this time!

The Love Shack was absolutely exquisite in every way shape and form. Charming, cosy, warm, and delightfully secluded. It was everything we had hoped for and more. The space had an enchanting atmosphere that made it feel both magical and intimate. Kate’s thoughtful touches were evident throughout and genuinely appreciated, adding a layer of care that made the experience feel even more special.
Although we had planned to explore the nearby national park, we found ourselves not wanting to leave the environment at all and just simply soaking up the beautiful energy of the space. It truly was the perfect weekend escape.

We loved staying here at the "Love Shack", the location is beautiful and so peaceful.
we had a small group that setup tents in addition to the Shack, brought a couple of kids and dogs and they had an incredible time, the lawn games were a massive hit.
The location also is perfect, close to hiking beaches, main town of Yarram with a beautiful backdrop when at the shack.
the setup is fantastic, bbq each night, then relax by the indoor or outdoor fireplace.
Kate was fantastic and very friendly and helpful when called on. Thank you Kate for a wonderful space and time away from Melbourne.
