There is a free public dump point available at Neerim South (a 10 minute drive north) 10 minutes drive to the larger township of Warragul. Firewood and eggs from our happy free range hens can be provided for an additional fee. Please only use the provided fire pits and no fires are allowed on total fire ban days. There is no access to the main house or paddocks unless accompanied by the property host. There is some traffic noise during the day but the nights are peaceful. Very happy with our stay here...was just for one night before we got the ferry to Tassie the next day. Flat sites, close to shops, nice to have a fire. Quiet spot, wasn't really any traffic noise. Nice outlook over fields. Our friends biiig rig got in ok. Would stay again! Thanks for having us!

We loved staying at Russie's. We were given a warm welcome on arrival and taken to the paddock. It was so relaxing, you cannot hear any traffic at all, only the sounds of the birds. It was a complete getaway while still being close enough to home. We will definitely be back to visit again. I highly recommend staying here.

Great little spot that's out of town but still only a few minutes away from shops, gym and 15mins to Geelong CBD. We stayed before heading to the Spirit of Tasmania. The paddock is flat with shady trees dotted around and situated on a quiet deadend road.

Weekend Trip to Glen Cromie Reserve Caravan Park

What a beautiful place. Birds galore and there are apparently platypus in the creek. Gorgeous and well kept little reserve obviously loved by generations of people. Gifted to the public by a visionary from long ago, it’s testament to what a little love and respect can do for the environment. Beautifully maintained but wear your thongs, sandals, shoes as there are one or two three corner jacks around.

We are situated between Healesville sanctuary and the penguins at Phillip Island plus BawBaw is just over an hour away. Puffin Billy is also close by at Emerald lake Locally we have wineries, restaurants such as Omy, The independent and Jason’s. There is a few apple orchards near by one with a cafe attached to their distillery. The property is a working farm specialising in horse riding lessons. Horse riding lessons are available if pre booked. $150 per lesson. The camp site is literally up the back paddock and just under an hour from Melbourne. It is 4wd access only. And you will need to be an experienced 4wd driver. Bathroom facilities are located at the front of the prop;erty and the camp ground is at the back.

Pollys paddock is named after a beautiful palomino horse named Polly, who lived here as a loved member of our family into her early 40s. Polly's Paddock is a quiet camping area on the Mornington Peninsula. We are a couples only camping (adults only), no children, for safety reasons with a dam close by. Only 15 minutes from Mount Martha village and Mornington, restaurants, amazing wineries, weekend markets, cafes and golf courses. We are 10 minutes from swimming beaches and 20 minutes from surf beaches. This is a 5.5 acre block, consisting of the host’s residence, garden and parkland. Polly's Paddock is half of the block. We offer 2 flat caravan sites, both with drinking water , 1 with limited power , the other no power. There is a site with a glamping tent set in the garden. The 6 metre round tent sleeps 2, with a queen size bed, linen provided. It is carpeted, has a fridge, kettle and BBQ. Just pack your toothbrush, clothes, food and drinks. All 3 sites have the use of a shared composting toilet. For a refreshing experience there is an outdoor, open air hot shower overlooking the dam. Close by is a spacious shelter/shed with tables, chairs and a rustic kitchen area with sink and heater. Well behaved dogs are accepted on the caravan sites, but we ask that you please discuss with us prior to booking. Our property is a 6.5 acre hobby farm consisting of chickens, sheep, lambs, koalas, various birds and our resident dogs. There are 3 self-contained (Caravans, Motorhomes and Camper Vans with Shower/Toilets Only) sites available to choose from that are all located around our beautiful dam and there's even a doggy paddock for your fur babies to run around off lead in. Site 1: SPACIOUS WITH POWER - MAX 21" Site 2: POWERED AND QUAINT - MAX 21" Site 3: OFF GRID DRIVE-THRU - MAX 26" All sites include a fire pit, picnic table with seats and are dog friendly! We also have firewood for sale at $10 a bag and a carton of eggs for $5. You can pay cash for these through our honesty box where the collection station is. Also available is a book swap, feel free to browse through these and take a book to swap with one you've read. Come down to the country and explore what South Gippsland has to offer. Our property is 5 acres comprising of a farmhouse, shed and gardens. Our campsites are grassy green flat paddocks with separate access, great views across open green pastures of grazing cattle and sheep with views of the majestic hills of Dumbalk South. There's plenty to see and do in the area from the amazing Wilson's Prom Nat. Park (40 mins), to country town shopping (2 mins), waterfalls and more. We are only a 10min walk or 3min bike ride from the Great Southern Rail Trail which is a multi-use, gentle trail suitable for all abilities and fitness levels, covering 14 towns and 130klm it runs from Nyora to Yarrum with panoramic views of lush farmland, rainforest and pristine seascapes. The Great Southern Rail Trail links several unique towns. Just across the road you'll find Stony Creek Go Karts which is at 800 metres long, the longest Hire Kart track in Victoria and one of the few tracks that have racing karts and hire out karts as well as provide facilities to bring your own. (Book if poss). They also have other games facilities and an on-site café with great coffee and pizzas! Ten minutes drive towards Dumbalk South takes you to Blue Tree Honey Farm, a great little tourist attraction where you can taste and buy honey from local areas, sample a beautiful cream tea/coffee, have lunch in the cafe or sit outside and admire the scenic countryside. Just down the road towards Foster on your right you will find a fabulous panoramic lookout platform with views of Wilson's Promontory National Park (40 min) comprised of 125,000 acres of rainforests, extremely beautiful beaches, rugged granite mountains and abundant wildlife. Trails from the Tidal River settlement lead to Squeaky Beach, with its white quartz squeaky sand. Nearby, Mt. Oberon offers views of Bass Strait and offshore islands and Wilsons Promontory Light station, built in 1859, is on the southern coast. Nearby towns for shopping are Meeniyan, Leongatha and Foster. Leongatha has an indoor pool and Foster has a surprisingly good museum which as you walk through there are outbuildings like a jail and a schoolhouse, complete with school children! There are so many attractions nearby as well as local festivals and markets just about every weekend that you will keep coming back to fit them all in.
