Our empty and unused dairy has space available out the front for up to 3, fully self contained vans (no tents) Located on the edge of the picturesque town of Buln Buln postcode 3821 (not Moe) take in views of rolling green hills and heritage listed oak trees while the gentle cattle and sheep graze nearby paddocks. We have access to power and river water on all three sites (not suitable for drinking) but no toilet so your vehicle must be fully self contained. One site is a drive through concrete slab, the other two are grassed sites. The grassed sites are next to each other and the slab site is on the opposite site of the driveway. There is a free public dump point available at Neerim South (a 10 minute drive north) 10 minutes drive to the larger township of Warragul. Firewood and eggs from our happy free range hens can be provided for an additional fee. Please only use the provided fire pits and no fires are allowed on total fire ban days. There is no access to the main house or paddocks unless accompanied by the property host. There is some traffic noise during the day but the nights are peaceful. Dogs are welcome but please ensure that they remain on leads at all times. Each site is limited to one vehicle and van or single campervan. Should you have a larger group and want to bring additional vehicles please book an additional site. We hope that you enjoy your stay with us.

Backing onto the Latrobe River and state park rests a secluded riverside spot to camp and enjoy absolute peace and quiet. Deer and wombats roam at night and during the day you can try your luck at fishing in the river. A good distance from the camping site is where we live and run our organic vegetable farm, and those wanting fresh vegetables can purchase directly from us. A short 5 min drive and you are in the small town of Noojee with your choice of classic country pubs and small-town coffee. The farm is also a short drive to Torongo Falls and the Ada tree. Private property nestled in the Barrm Birrm Nature Reserve, this spot is ideal for hikers looking for a secluded escape that is still close to Melbourne. The site is on a 'street' disguised as a goat track, and is only accessible by foot. It's around 500m from the (drivable) dirt road. The site is close enough to town to get excellent mobile coverage (and supplies!). There is a permanent picnic table on the site and nothing else. We only hire the site out to one group at a time, so you know you'll have the whole acre to yourself. A fire can be lit only in strict accordance with local restrictions, so be sure to check the current requirements. Barrm Birrm is a special place, full of wildlife and native vegetation, so we ask that you leave the place exactly as you found it. There are no toilets or water close by, so prepare accordingly. ;) Please enjoy this gorgeous space as much as we do.

Nestled in the valley of a 1000 hills and on the land of the Taungurung people, this little patch of hilly heaven is home to a small family of farm animals, dog and their two owners. With its rugged natural beauty, amazing sunsets and starry skies, it was hard not to want to share its beauty with others. The property is the gateway to Murrindindi, has power and water for campers, a dam if you enjoy yabbying and perfect for intimate, small groups. We offer a flat campsite and ridge top campsite. Low gear and 4wd preferable during very wet months. NOTE: Campfires subject to fire restrictions at over summer, please message. Our secluded, flat campsite is surrounded by unspoilt bushland and is home to a multitude of native Australian animals. Our ridge-top campsite also features beautiful bush, and some amazing views. With over 50 acres of rugged hilly bushland, no neighbours in sight and tracks to explore, this is the perfect place for those who enjoy a challenging bush walk, privacy and a sky to watch the stars. Campers are required to be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Campfires are welcome but must be contained and campers must respect any restrictions in place at the time of their stay. Pets are welcome.

Kerens place is so peaceful and beautiful. The river is wonderful to watch and our dog loves to be in it. The bird song at dawn is wonderful. We have now been here a couple of times and we are returning in the New Year.

A great spot to enjoy the local area, with only a couple of fellow campers. Fire pits are great and Jarrod is a fantastic host. Being able to bring doggo is awesome and she enjoyed exploring the old dairy and hay sheds. Being close to the road can be noisy at times, but not enough to prevent us going back. Highly recommend this camp site.

We enjoyed a lovely couple of nights on Jarrod and Linda’s beautiful property. The site was flat, easy to access and hidden away off the road. Jarrod kindly provided fire wood and we enjoyed a cosy evening under the stars. Highly recommended for friendliness and location.

3 nights at Bushy Ridge Hideaway

Terrific place to camp for a few days - having access to power and water was an absolute game changer and there is plenty of room for those who might to want to set up further down the ridge without utilities. The dogs loved the open space and there was plenty of firewood around (and gathered for us on this occasion). Close to Yea and Flowerdale - just perfect for a short break! The other campsite is not far away from the powered site on Bushy Ridge but was far enough away that both sites feel secluded. We saw kangaroos and some deer amble through the site one morning and the birdlife was as to be expected! This site is well worth considering!

The old dairy was indeed an old dairy. I stayed on the grassed area with my campervan. It was lovely, Jarrod is such a helpful host and my little doggo was intrigued with the blackheaded sheep. Beautiful sunset and such a peaceful spot for coffee while looking over the green fields with the mountains in the background.

Weekend Trip to Bushy Ridge Hideaway

Stayed at Bushy Ridge for a quick weekend away with the kids and it was perfect. Power and water close at hand, great little bush walks for the kids as well as feeding the farm animals. Great hosts, highly recommend.

Good location for drives around the region. Linda was very welcoming. We had new born lambs to look at while we were there. Good low cost, powered sites. Did not notice any road noise at night. Site 3 may require some levellers. Booked 3 nights, added another night. Dump point just 10-15 minutes away in Neerim South.

We just finished up our week long stay at the Old Dairy and it was great! Jared & Linda are both very welcoming and friendly hosts. They even brought down a chaff bag of bread for the kids to feed the sheep ☺️ The kids also had fun playing with the trucks and harvester toys that were in the shed. Sites are well kept and tidy with bins and fire pits available. The town of Neerim is only 10 mins away and there is a public dump point and drinking water available at the footy oval. There is also a small Laundromat next to the post office.
