The beach track is across from the front gate, there is no beach sign from the road because the public will then use the track which is only for Hipcampers and you wont enjoy the deserted beach. Call me if you cant find the track, but most people have not had a problem. This walking access is steep, easier tracks can be driven to down the road.Or take a dip in the river further down the road, and explore the waterways, with many birds; black swans in the lakes next to camp, plus kangaroos, wombats, emu and deer. There is a boat ramp just down the road to explore the river system. Perfect for water sports, and with fish cleaning tables at the wharf. Go by boat to the Marlo Hotel from the wharf straight over the river.Orbost is 15 minutes drive and has a supermarket, hotel, bottle shop and other conveniences. Tambo Cottages is offering 4 Acres of farmland (large paddock) within walking distance of the local shops, petrol station, restaurant/take away and pub. Only 8 groups of people at anyone time. There is water available for use, but campers will need to be self-sufficient with their own camping toilet/shower. Campers will need to remove all waste and rubbish with them on departure. We are conveniently located just under 30 minutes from both Bairnsdale and Lakes Entrance. Metung is only 8km away and they have just opened their new Hot Spring complex. There is so much to see and do in the surrounding area, explore the beautiful coastline, explore the Great Lakes, take a walk/ride through one of the coastal or regional parks or simply enjoy relaxing at your campsite. Sorry, no pets.

The host was very helpful. The outlook over the winding river was amazing, ducks, and swans were always present on the river. The area is well looked and we had the area to ourselves so was very private. This location was only 15 minutes from Lakes Entrance and only 5 minutes from the Wyanga Winery. The winery was an added bonus, we walked there in 30 minutes, great wines and fantastic food

Weekend Trip to Blackwood Arm Camping

A peaceful, beautiful spot. We had it all to ourselves which was lovely. We loved exploring and looking for wombat burrows and echidnas with the kids. Be prepared - We had to chock our 21’6 van to get it level and the ground is a bit soft so it kept settling and going slightly out of level again. There were also a lot of flies!

Weekend Trip to Nowa Nowa Lakeside Farmlet.

We recently returned to Nowa Nowa, and not even the rain could dampen our spirits! There was plenty to keep everyone entertained — from jumping off the jetty and stand-up paddle boarding to bird watching and tackling the BMX track. The kids (and the kids at heart) had an absolute blast. It’s a fantastic spot for families, and we love that our fur babies were welcome too. A great place to relax, explore, and make lasting memories!

3 nights at Forge Creek Farm Stay

Awesome views almost 360 degrees over surrounding sweeping hills and lovely tree lines of neighbouring properties. Nigel was welcoming and offered us to fill our caravan water tanks. How cool is that? Pure rain water too. Towards the east end of camp 8 I saw a long neck turtle furrowing. What a massive task for it to climb up the hill from the beautiful Forge Creek. We met his lovely partner, Meekatharra who was also very helpful while filling up h2O before we left. Will recommend this stay to other travellers. Best regards Nigel and Meeka. This promised peace and few sites and it delivered. Only 3 camping groups in a large paddock surrounded by rolling hills. Walk across the road to the pub and General Store, 10 minute drive to Bluffs Reserve with a good swimming hole and had the good fortune to be there for Buchan Makers Market.

Great location and well laid out with power and water connections. The property was very easy to access towing my 25ft van. Close to Bairnsdale and the lakes around East Gippsland. Peter was a great communicator and everything was as described. Highly recommend.

Had a great time with our family and friends! We parked up near the fire pit overlooking the horses and cows in the paddock. Was the perfect place for the kids to run around and the grass was very well kept. Will be returning for sure!

We were a group of 6 camping together and we had a wonderful time. It was private and exclusive. We dealt with Mike’s wife and she was very kind and friendly. Lots of activity opportunities and Mike got canoe and bikes available. We will definitely come again for a relaxing break.

The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The position is quiet and plenty of room. Close to the river and enjoyed the early morning kayaking and bike rides on equipment on hand. Close enough to town to walk and benefit from facilities but close enough away to have privacy and peace. The bird life was amazing as well.

Wide expansive well kept grassed area for tents or in my case a camper trailer. I just parked on small concreted area near the Old Dairy/Cabin. I didn't use power but is available. Be aware there is now amnesties or water available on site. Easy walk to village and Pub. Food was great at the pub, and generous. Would use again, was made very easy by Paul and Kristie and thier info leading up to visit was spot on Thanks D

What a gem of a host Mike is! I rolled up in my 6-meter campervan, and his land welcomed me like an old friend—no fuss, just easy access If you’re itching for adventure, Mike’s got you covered with bikes and canoes ready to roll and those who prefer walking, well, there's plenty of walking tracks. The area is very enchanting and when night falls, those firepits spark up a cozy, soul-warming ambience. Loved it!

Beautiful views, peaceful. Cows and horses in neighbouring paddocks roaming the hills. Beautiful sunsets and start sky's. Short walk to town, caves and many hiking/walking trails/rivers. The pub food was delicious.

Grandview Sanctuary is nestled between rolling hills and is tranquil yet conveniently right in town. We loved camping here; our highlight was sitting by the fire with a wine and dark-sky stargazing. The pub meals are great and the Road house has good coffee. Thanks Paul and Kirstie. We will be back :)

We enjoyed a peaceful night by the fire and overlooking a beautiful wetlands. We had the choice of numerous sites all with plenty of space, distant farmland views and the company of nearby cattle. Nigel and Mieka were caring hosts and made our stay a very enjoyable one.
