Reserviour Creek runs just behind the camping area which runs from Spring until Autumn creating a peaceful place to relax and enjoy. We are 40 mins from Halls Gap, the hub of the Grampians and 6 minutes to the Moyston General Store Cafe which has a reputation for exceptional coffee! $54/night for 2 people. Remote farm at the end of a road, no neighbours, and spectacular views of the Grampians (Gariwerd) that is most stunning in the morning as the sun hits Mt William. One camp site (one group only). The site accepts 8 people but if you are just two people you will have the place to yourselves except for the kangaroos, wallabies, emus, echidnas and birdlife. The campsite is situated next to our family's holiday farmhouse that we visit sometimes, but only when there are no guest campers. There is a fire pit with grill plates available to cook over the fire (note open fires cannot occur when fire restrictions are in place). Campers have access to the flush toilet, hot shower and kitchen in the house. The house is a work in progress. We are slowly renovating the house, so it is a bit rough but it is clean and functional and you will have the place to yourselves. Please respect the locked private areas of the house. Campers are expected to bring their own cooking pots, plates, cutlery, camp chairs, etc. Only 4 km from Moyston where you can get great coffee and visit the historic Mine Walk. Halls Gap is 35km away or head through the mountains over Redmans Road that takes you the scenic route to Halls Gap (2WD accessible in dry weather). Kalymna Falls and picnic ground is a beautiful 15 min bush drive from the farm. Really beautiful and peaceful site right in the heart of the Grampians. We had the whole campsite to ourselves which was delightful as we had a show of many kangaroos and wallaby’s as dusk fell. So many birds too! We were emerged in nature, with stunning views. Highly recommend this site. Great amenities too.

Ideal basecamp position for both northern and southern Grampians access. We have a camper trailer and the campsites are relatively flat with no bumps and saw no ants. Absolute bonus on a Hipcamp site to have access to hot water for showers and a toilet.

Host supplied sticks to get fire started and a nights worth of wood to burn Massive paddock to choose where to camp in means that other guests were far enough away to ensure privacy within your own camp. Camp under the trees for shade or middle of paddock for maximum Grampians view

One of, if not the best camp and we have stayed at a few. Jason’s instructions were clear, even phoning a couple of days before to confirm we if we had any questions and to clarify a couple of things. He was a wealth of knowledge on the area and suggested a couple of places to go. The property, peaceful and private, views were spectacular, sunsets outstanding , the wildlife included many species of birds, wallabies, kangaroos and rabbits. Having the use of the bathroom was an added bonus. Cannot wait to go back.

Redmans View was the perfect off-grid base for our family to stay and explore the Grampians. Quiet and well-maintained land with stunning views. Loved the fire pit provided with a generous supply of firewood. Was also great being able to arrive at any time and choose any location to set up camp.

Great spot! Heaps of room to set up away from anyone else, nice flat area and a good location to base yourself. Right near a creek so lots of birdsong and frogs at night. Slightly tricky entrance if towing, not a lot of room between the gate and the road, but that’s just nitpicking. Highly recommended.

A great peaceful campsite for a group of friends. A short drive to Halls Gap for a hike, beautiful view. Tom and his wife were very helpful, super friendly and sweet. Just the toilet is a bit too far from the pitch, we sometimes need to drive to the toilet while its late/middle of the night but its super super clean which is a bonus , never seen a clean toilet as this of all my camping experiences. Brought my friends for their first time camp experience and they love the place, they even wanna bring their family here. Thank you Tom for keeping the place beautiful and clean. We have a good experienced.

We stayed in a powered site for several nights due to the cooler weather otherwise we would have chosen the bush sites. The bush sites have amazing views of the Grampians, picnic tables and privacy. They are a distance from the amenities but if you’re self sufficient these are hands down the best sites on the property. The pwr sites are closer to amenities many still have a lovely bush outlook, sites are a reasonable size and easy accessible. Check in was easy and friendly. Fuel onsite. There is several tennis courts, basketball and a pool. The amenities were sufficient, however if your a big name caravan park type of individual you may struggle with the water pressure or camp kitchen offerings, however if you prefer to steer clear of crowds and love natural settings this place is for you. Great spot, really enjoyed!!
