These beautiful towns contain an array of boutique wineries, craft breweries, bakeries and cafes, or you can choose to follow a farm gate food trail.The area also provides opportunities to go horse-riding, bike riding on one of the many rail trails or be adventurous on the mountain bike tracks at Falls Creek in the warmer months with snow sports in winter. The surrounding mountain ranges offer numerous famous 4wd trails or you might like to try your hand at panning for gold.This is a working farm and our animals are our family. They are very friendly but only know us and not you so please do not enter their homes without us, but feel free to talk to them over the gates. Be aware that all fences are electric and are switched on at all times. There is a dedicated communal campfire area for use when fire restrictions permit and we request that no additional fire pits are created during your stay. As this is a working property we are unable to accommodate your pets. For biosecurity reasons there is a strict No Pet policy. It has been a few years since we stopped hosting campers at Samsons Gully, but we're back and looking forward to meeting new and old friends.
Samsons Gully is a working cattle farm nestled in a stunning private valley. If you are after peace and tranquillity this is where you will find it.
We have a national park on one side of us, and the Cudgewa Creek flowing along our front boundary. The property is perfect for mountain biking, bushwalking, fishing or just plain relaxing.
The favourite camp site is on the banks of the Cudgewa Creek. However, there are plenty of places to camp in the bush for those wanting more seclusion.
Samsons Gully is a perfect base to explore the Upper Murray. 20 minutes away is Corryong where there is an IGA, service stations, dump point, Dr and hospital, pubs and cafes. 10 minutes away is the Cudgewa pub who do dinner Wednesday through to Sunday evenings.
Our property suits fully self contained campers only as there is not toilet or shower. Dogs and horses are welcome but must be well behaved and kept close to your camp site as this is a working cattle property.
Due to council regulations we can only open one site up at a time. This ensures that your time here will be exclusive, peaceful and private.

Wandi Farm is a small scale produce farm under development. It is set on 3 acres on the eastern (sunny) side of the beautiful Wandiligong Valley, just 5 minute drive from Bright.
The property is on the side of a hill, which provides spectacular valley views to the north.
Our family live in the recently completed straw bale house on the property, which sits well below the camping sites.
The property has a fully functional camp kitchen with a large deck as well as a bathroom with toilet and shower.
Due to the slope the tent sites are not suitable for camp trailers (the tent sites are flat but there is nowhere flat to park a car next to it) and the tent sites are not suitable for vehicles. Therefore we can only accommodate people with tents/swags.

Our third trip to High Country Paradise was just as fantastic as our first two. Loretta is a very friendly host and always responds very quickly to messages, and the property is magnificent. The sites are huge, so nobody is crammed in, and the creek that runs along the border is fantastic to cool off in the hot weather. Whether sitting out beside the firepit, under the stars staying warm in the colder nights, sitting on a chair in the creek to cool off in the heat, it very relaxing and battery recharging! Only a 15 minute drive to town, and heaps to do in the area, I would definitely recommend this Hipcamp to others!

We took the kids up to feed the goats, chickens, turkeys.Relaxing time by all.

I loved camping here, especially sitting in the creek on a hot afternoon. We wanted some peace and we found it, being lucky to come midweek and have the whole place to ourselves. It would be great for a group as well. I hope to come back one day.

Beautiful spot. Very clean clear river at your doorstep. Wonderful array of bird life. Fish can be seen swimming past and jumping . Lots of high shady trees. You get the company of some lovely cows and there young . We were fortunate to be the only campers at the time which gave us a feeling of seclusion and tranquillity which is often hard to achieve. It did make it hard to say goodbye after 10 nights. Great hosts willing to share their piece of paradise and their animals of which many are really pets. We were treated to fresh eggs,herbs and peaches very reasonable cost . Nice places to visit in the area . We would return.

Had our first Hipcamp stay at High Country Paradise in Myrtleford and honestly, it was unreal. Such a beautiful spot with amazing views and heaps of space to just relax and switch off. Super peaceful and really well looked after — exactly what we needed.

We stayed here for 3 nights with our 3 young kids. It was 40+ degrees here but we loved the river that was there just for our camp-site. The river and the camp site itself provided just the right amount of privacy. The river was the right height for adults and kids and was exceptionally clean. We loved the cows and the horses were very polite whilst they were grazing around our camper. Myrtleford in itself provided alot of opportunities for our family to explore Eg local restaurants, water play park, Mosaic Bike trail (5km kids friendly). We also travelled 30km up to the Apex Lookout (4WD vehicles only) and the view was well worth the drive up! The wildlife is great and our kids didn't want to leave. Thank you to Loretta for being very welcoming and providing communication throughout our trip. A memorable trip that's for sure!

Very scenic. Beautiful river location. Great little drive up the hill to eagles nest to watch sunrise. Charles takes you through it all at the start but then leaves you to it u less you need him. Perfect.
