We only have one campsite available at the very rear beside the forest so you will have complete privacy. There is an area of thick native forest and a stand of the critically endangered bush, the Round-leaf Pomaderris, right near the camping area. There is an abundance of birdlife at the camping location, including kookaburras, fairy wrens, greater shrike thrushes, robins, bellbirds, wedge-tail eagles, magpies and owls (namely boobooks). We are within easy reach of Toolangi State Forest with many walks and trails, including the WirraWilla Rainforest Walk and the Kalatha Giant Mountain Ash tree walk. This area is also popular for 4 wheel driving and there are plenty of tracks in the nearby state forest if you have the correct gear, vehicle and an appreciation for the wilderness. Healesville, Yarra Glen and Kinglake are equal distance away (18-20 minute drives) with services, plenty of cafes, restaurants, wineries and shopping: Healesville: Coles, IGA, Aldi Yarra Glen: IGA Kinglake: Foodworks Relax around the fire in the evenings (out of the fire danger season) and enjoy some great star gazing. Sorry, no pets. There is a toilet block onsite with a camp toilet but you can bring your own camping toilet if you desire. 1 night at Millers Farm "The Hills are alive"

It was pure joy to wake up on Miller's farm. The rooster heralded dawn - better than any alarm clock. That inspired the chorus of birdsong; kookaburras, cockatoos, wattlebirds, magpies, currawongs. That in turn encouraged the sheep - they started their day bleating for their feathered friends to join them. Farmer Anne let the feathers free and mayhem reigned. Chooks, turkeys and the sole duck running around chatting with excitement at the new day. The goats and alpacas were pretty happy to say hi too. How lucky were we to be part of it. Highly recommend Miller's Camp - check in was easy. Communication great. Anne was lovely. Camp kitchen was a bonus. Great stay. Thankyou.

Weekend Trip to Berry's Beach Farm, Phillip Island

We camped on Wayne and Deb's farm over a busy long weekend on Phillip Island and it was wonderful to have such a quiet place to come back to, away from crowds. Close to Berry's beach for walks and rockpools, close to Phillip Island winery for drinks, food and music. A short drive to a local cafe and a great base for exploring the island. Wayne and Deb were friendly and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Paddock was spacious and we had lots of space to spread out. The water tap close to our van was handy. A great stay and would recommend for a quiet getaway on the island.

Weekend Trip to Toolangi Springwater Forest Camp

A beautiful property. The spring is stunning. We had a lovely swim. The campsite is perfect. There are 2 tiny houses on the property too, but they are far enough away to feel you are there on your own. Adam provided wood for our fires, which was a lovely added bonus. Directions and trip tips for Adam where great!

Weekend Trip to Sommerleigh

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sommerleigh! Gorgeous location that had everything we needed, nestled in nature and surrounded by so many birds. It felt intimate and private, perfect for a romantic weekend away. The wood stove was absolutely divine and rainy weather was no problem because it was so cosy rugged up indoors by the fire watching the rain through the big windows and hearing the rain on the tin roof. Jeff was lovely and made sure we knew everything we needed to know before leaving us to it. I highly recommend this special gem of a stay!

Weekend Trip to Millers Farm "The Hills are alive"

Millers Farm was an amazing experience for my son and I. A host of friendly farm animals that added a unique element to the stay. Anne, Kate and Peter were incredibly welcoming and keen to show us around their little patch of paradise. A very clean and well thought out kitchen made camping that bit easier. Would highly recommend.

Great quiet spot with an easy walk to the shops and the Wooli pub for a great feed! Site 1 and 2 are close together so for ultimate privacy book em both!
