Tiny Castle is a custom built tiny house that overlooks farmland, bushland and the glorious Stzelecki Ranges including Mount Worth. With a large covered deck connected to the front of the tiny house, you don't have to go anywhere to witness Wedge-tailed Eagles, Black Cockatoos, King Parrots, Rosellas and Kookaburra to name a few. Or wombats scurrying into their warren in the embankment just below the tiny house. Or the wallabies that hang out in the front paddock. If you're a fit walker, you can hike up to the back of the property that borders an old pine plantation now full of regrowth where herds of deer call it home. At the right time of day, you're likely to see all kinds of water fowl in the damns around the property. And if you're lucky, our 3 alpaca will let you photograph them as they stare you down, but no cuddles for these guys -- they're there to keep the foxes away. Night time is magical. With no light pollution, it's a stargazers paradise and on a still evening you'll hear boobooks, possums and frogs. The popular tourist village of Yarragon is 16km down a winding unsealed road one way, while the larger town of Mirboo North is about the same distance going the other way. Mount Worth State Park is 13km from our property and Lyrebird Forest Walk Regional Park is 26km just outside Mirboo North. While there's a lot to do around these parts, my guess is you won't want to leave the property.

Camping sites are situated at the back of the property just a quick 5-minute walk from the car park. We'll transport your gear to your campsite so you can get set up quickly and start exploring the property or just kick back and relax. The three campsites are positioned so that you won't hear a sound from any other campers on the property. You will feel like you've got the whole place to yourself. And even though the campsites are isolated you'll still enjoy the convenience of clean regular flushing toilet facilities. But unlike any toilet you'll have used before, you'll get to enjoy a our unique loo with a view which is situated right amongst the rainforest looking out over the magestic tree ferns!

Tarwin Lower EcoStudio is not far out of town and the Tarwin River (4 kms), for boating, paddling and fishing. Slightly further afield is Andersen Inlet (great fishing, paddling, paddle boarding, boating, and shallow waters for very young children), Venus Bay Surf beaches, and Walkerville South bay beach (with boat ramp). The 6 metre round tent sleeps 2, with a queen size bed, linen provided.
It is carpeted, has a fridge, kettle and BBQ. Just pack your toothbrush, clothes, food and drinks.
All 3 sites have the use of a shared composting toilet.
For a refreshing experience there is an outdoor, open air hot shower overlooking the dam.

The old school portable sleeps 7 people. There is also room for larger groups if people are wanting to setup camp, there's a camp area with crushed rock ground and a firepit with a beautiful view of the forest.
We can also accomodate for big groups and the parking area can fit camper vans and caravans with electrical hookups.
Enjoy our beautiful sunsets and starry nights. Unwind by the camp fire (limited firewood provided) and soak in the serenity.

The cottage is a converted shed, with three bedrooms, a lovely living area and a cosy closed woodfire. We have a sheltered outdoor area, where you can have a barbeque, or have a small fire in a firedish. The cottage is in the bush, so you can walk out and try to find our resident breeding pair of Lyrebirds, echidnas, wombats, wallabies and kangaroos or the deer that live in our 'back yard'. Or just roam, which shouldn't be too hard on 67 acres .
We are close to massive areas of bush with open trails. Dogs are very welcome- no cats.
As we live in the bush, we do our best to keep everything as 'green' as we can- so please don't use harsh chemicals.
Living in the bush brings with it that you cannot light a fire in fire danger periods, and, heating on a woodstove, means there is a hot stove in the room. (watch those little fingers...)
Our aim is to give you a place of rest and enjoyment. We love to share our space as we love it here so much- and hope you love it too.
As life is a project - don't expect 10* linen and luxury, state of the art gardens and clipped lawns, but a friendly welcoming atmosphere where you can be yourself and relax.
We love to have visitors, and chat for a bit- or leave you to relax. The cottage is on the edge of the bush, where you are welcome to roam on the tracks or off them- at your own risk :-)
We are both artists, and our studio's are close to the cottage, which might make some noise, but we'll try to keep it at a minimum when guests are here.
The upside is, you could learn something if interested :-) (contact us for workshops)
We have a working hobby farm- with some machinery, animals (pigs, dogs, horses, ducks and chickens).
You can interact with the animals if you talk to us about safety first, but the horse paddock is out of bounds. ( they can behave unpredictable, are very large (!) and very valuable)
Our dogs are very friendly and will most probably visit you. Our puppy still has lots to learn :-)
Our property is stock- fenced, our animals will stay in, but dogs are able to roam if they are not staying with you.
There is no secure yard to leave your dog during the day, you are expected to be in control of your dogs at all times. If they are ok with horses, chooks and dogs, and under voice command, they can be off leash.
Dogs are not to sleep on the beds.
We are a rural property with animals, and there are dams on the property, (not close to the cottage) so please keep an eye on children - we cannot take responsibility for your persons or animals.
Living on a farm means that not everything is neat, safe, flat or person-proof. Often there is actual work being done involving machinery. Coming here is entirely at your own risk. (sorry for all the disclaimers...)
But- of course- if there is anything we can do to make your visit more pleasurable, we will do our best to do so!

As we live in the bush, we do our best to keep everything as 'green' as we can- so please don't use harsh chemicals.
Living in the bush brings with it that you cannot light a fire in fire danger periods, and, heating on a woodstove, means there is a hot stove in the room. (watch those little fingers...)

As life is a project - don't expect 10* linen and luxury, state of the art gardens and clipped lawns, but a friendly welcoming atmosphere where you can be yourself and relax.
We love to have visitors, and chat for a bit- or leave you to relax. The cottage is on the edge of the bush, where you are welcome to roam on the tracks or off them- at your own risk :-)
We are both artists, and our studio's are close to the cottage, which might make some noise, but we'll try to keep it at a minimum when guests are here.
The upside is, you could learn something if interested :-) (contact us for workshops)
We have a working hobby farm- with some machinery, animals (pigs, dogs, horses, ducks and chickens).
You can interact with the animals if you talk to us about safety first, but the horse paddock is out of bounds. ( they can behave unpredictable, are very large (!) and very valuable)
Our dogs are very friendly and will most probably visit you. Our puppy still has lots to learn :-)
Our property is stock- fenced, our animals will stay in, but dogs are able to roam if they are not staying with you.
There is no secure yard to leave your dog during the day, you are expected to be in control of your dogs at all times. If they are ok with horses, chooks and dogs, and under voice command, they can be off leash.
Dogs are not to sleep on the beds.
We are a rural property with animals, and there are dams on the property, (not close to the cottage) so please keep an eye on children - we cannot take responsibility for your persons or animals.
Living on a farm means that not everything is neat, safe, flat or person-proof. Often there is actual work being done involving machinery. Coming here is entirely at your own risk. (sorry for all the disclaimers...)
But- of course- if there is anything we can do to make your visit more pleasurable, we will do our best to do so!

Maple Cottage @Wilindi Estate is a 2-bedroom cottage, with its own private, fenced garden. Interiors have been curated with an eclectic mix of contemporary and antique farm furnishings. The cosy living area with garden views includes a fully equipped kitchenette with bench top oven and dishwasher.
The stylish master bedroom boasts a tall raked ceiling providing a spacious ambiance. A unique, porthole window also doubles as a reading seat where you can while away the hours enjoying the view of the property. A plush velvet queen bed adds a touch of luxury. The second bedroom offers a bunk bed & a trundle bed the sleeps 3. The pièce de résistance is the stunning privately hedged terrace, offering an outdoor barbecue and beautiful sunsets all year round.
The shared pool is such a special place and is solar heated all-year-round. If the outside temperature is below 25 or there hasn't been allot of sun, solar heating is usually not enough for a comfortable swim. We can use the electrical heating and the additional charge is $90 per day to guarantee a heated pool from 26-32 degrees. If this sounds like something you'd like, please book at least 7 days in advance as the heating will Be turned on 48 hours before your arrival.
WEDDING PARTIES, PHOTOGRAPHY, EXTRA VISITORS:
We enjoy hosting brides-to-be and love the photos that are taken, but there are some things to note;
• Use of our property for wedding photos or any photo shoots costs $250 for up to 2 hours
• There are a maximum of 10 additional visitors allowed including photographer, hair/makeup, videographer
• Guests names and vehicle license plates must be registered with Wilindi Estate owner via email
• There are 3 additional cars allowed on the property only
• Extra guests must ask permission to use the facilities including, but not limited to, pool, play equipment, barn
• Extra guests are not allowed to interact with the animals
• The booked guest is responsible for their additional guests and will be responsible for any damage caused.
• Extra rubbish generated (wrapping paper/boxes) must be removed from the property by the booked guest

This was a very quiet out of the way spot with lovely views over the paddocks to the hills. The Love Shack was used by my son and his wife who has never camped before. Felt it was a good way to ease her into camping. Plenty of room for our caravan and large tent for the rest of our family members. Yarram was a short drive away. Was great to be on short lush grass and no real ant problems. Although in saying this, there was a huge nest on the corner of the verandah of the Love Shack. Great camp kitchen area and table and chairs to use all under cover. Designated outside fire but not used this trip due to the extreme weather. Overall we all thoroughly enjoyed this location and would go back. The hosts introduced themselves and then kept to themselves. Would recommend this location for a family event.

We have come home from a perfect and tranquil trip at Jo & Russell's beautiful EcoStudio. We are honestly lost for words for this oasis they have created. The photos don't do it justice and every step of the way you are met with kindness from these two exceptional people. This studio is filled with love and every part has a story. We loved every part of the studio, it is so well thought out for the people visiting and for the environmental footprint. A group of us stayed at the Cozy Pozy Caravan and Site 2 of Tamara's farm for 3 nights over the new year. We had a great time and Tamara was a fantastic host! Site 2 has a bit of a slope, but there were enough flat areas to comfortably set up 2 tents, a gazebo, and a campervan (with levelling ramps). The camping area is open, but surrounded by beautiful trees with heaps of birdlife. Also friendly goats and sheep that were super cute! Would recommend staying here, and hope to come back!

Tamara's hospitality and van both were amazing. Unfortunately, we had to cut short our trip as it was too hot when we were there and due to it being holiday season majority of the places were closed. But Kinglake is pretty and the Tamara's place is pretty. Our son had a great time with Goats and Sheep.
It is great for couples but maybe a bit challenging with small kids.

It’s a great set up for dogs and kids. So much space and fresh air! We had a lovely 3 nights with 3 generations and 2 dogs. The love shack and add-on facilities are very rustic, but that is what we were expecting as accurrsye. is reflected by the price. Kate made some great suggestions for activities.
