Surrounded by gum trees on 30 acres of private High Country bushland, the homestead is a peaceful place where you can breathe out and enjoy life's simple pleasures.

The perfect base to explore the Alpine Region's bushwalking, mountain biking, kayaking, white-water rafting and trout fishing. The homestead is also a peaceful, cosy spot to relax, sit around the campfire outside or the wood stove inside, breath in the fresh mountain air and gaze at the stars.

The rustic mud brick guesthouse has 10 bedrooms, 5 with ensuite and 5 upstairs with a shared bathroom.

The Wilderness Retreat is popular with couples as well as larger groups of family and friends, school camps and study groups.

The open-plan kitchen and living room, with a huge dining table and wood stove for heating is a perfect spot to relax, share a feast and warm up after a day exploring the Alpine Region.

Outside, there is an outdoor kitchen for BBQing as well as a wood-fired pizza oven, outdoor fire heated bath, and campfire. You can explore the acres of pristine bush on the property, or venture further afield for fishing, bushwalking, mountain bike riding, or snow sports higher up in the mountains.

The guesthouse is off-grid, with solar hot water, and a combination of solar and hydro power. The rustic timber beams, slate floors and mud-brick walls create a cosy atmosphere - a true country wilderness retreat.

Jessie’s Creek Cottage offers a luxurious stay in the heart of the picturesque King Valley Wine District. Centrally located in Whitfield, the cottage is within walking distance of fine dining, award-winning wineries, and relaxing massage and spa treatments. Indulge in the local culinary scene at nearby favourites like the Mountain View Hotel, La Trattoria Restaurant, and The Whitty Café, or explore renowned wineries such as Pizzini Wines and Dal Zotto Estate.

Built in 2012, the cottage features three spacious bedrooms, two modern bathrooms, and a large open-plan living and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen. Clean, fresh, and beautifully appointed, it includes reverse cycle air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, DVD/Blu-ray player, and stylish furnishings throughout. The kitchen comes complete with an electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, toaster, and tea and coffee-making facilities. High Country Paradise

Welcome to the Victorian High Country! The High Country region has award winning craft breweries, a rich history to explore and offers a beautiful spot for bush horse riding, hiking, mountain biking, swimming, fishing, exploring or just relaxing around a camp fire 🔥.

Ideal location to bring your horse to explore Mt Buffalo national park. Horses to be kept in yards provided for $10 per horse per night.

If you are one group please don’t book separate camp sites. Camps sites can have upto 20 adul on them. Teenagers 13 and over to pay $25 per night

This campsite offers toilet amenities (no shower), a dedicated firepits. All pets need to be previously organised by message.

If you are after total peace and quite please don’t book Christmas ,Easter or long weekends . Off peek during the week is very quite.

Located approximately 3 hours from Melbourne, this property is within a short range of the snowfields andthe bike trails around Bright and Beechworth.

Experience the local wineries, the Milawa cheese factory and Lake Buffalo. Explore the breath-taking scenery while walking, cycling or paddling through.

We are just an hour from Mt Hotham and Mt Buffalo for ski season.

Kielock Homestead

Kielock Homestead is a unique farm stay experience located centrally in the beautiful Kiewa Valley Victoria where you can camp right on the bank of the Kiewa River. Some of the activities available include fishing, swimming, bush walking, bird and animal watching and bike riding. If you choose you can join in on farm activities such as feeding the animals,  collecting eggs and planting/harvesting fruit and vegetables. We have a small market garden available where you can pick and purchase seasonal fresh produce, alternatively vegetable boxes and eggs are available by arrangement and delivered right to your campsite. Within the 200 acres of the property you will find it is home to many animals including kangaroos wombats platypus possums, bats and many bird and marine species. The main fish in the river are  trout and cod so if you would like to try your luck fishing this is the place for you.Some of the surrounding towns include Mt Beauty (20 mins), Yackandandah (30 mins), Bright (50 mins), Beechworth (50 mins) Falls Creek (60 mins) with the border towns of Albury and Wodonga only 50 mins away. These beautiful towns contain an array of boutique wineries, craft breweries, bakeries and cafes, or you can choose to follow a farm gate food trail.The area also provides opportunities to go horse-riding, bike riding on one of the many rail trails or be adventurous on the mountain bike tracks at Falls Creek in the warmer months with snow sports in winter. The surrounding mountain ranges offer numerous famous 4wd trails or you might like to try your hand at panning for gold.This is a working farm and our animals are our family. They are very friendly but only know us and not you so please do not enter their homes without us, but feel free to talk to them over the gates. Be aware that all fences are electric and are switched on at all times. There is a dedicated communal campfire area for use when fire restrictions permit and we request that no additional fire pits are created during your stay. As this is a working property we are unable to accommodate your pets. For biosecurity reasons there is a strict No Pet policy. We look forward to greeting you upon arrival and showing you to your campsite.

Jackaleah Farm Stay - Camping

Natural river plain terrain with diverse ecology, lagoons and rivers on site. Incredible central location, set back off the Snow Road in Oxley, North East Victoria. Minutes walk to Miranda Winery and King River Cafe or access the bike path linking Milawa and Oxley to Wangaratta. So much to do in the area from wineries to walking tracks, snow fields to breweries. A key feature is the irrigation keep parts of the farm and many campsites green all year round.Jackaleah is approximately 2.5 hrs north of Melbourne and only minutes drive to quality restaurants and wineries in the local area. It has view to the surrounding mountains and is well set up for family stays or larger groups attending events, or just for that weekend get away.There is no toilet available here, campers must be self contained and leave no trace.Pets welcome, but must remain on leash. 

Go for a swim or cast a line in the King River. 

This gumtree is estimated to be around over 500 years old. These giants are a wonderful feature on the farm.

150 acres of river flats with beautiful big gums, lagoons and 1km length of ovens river frontage.

 A beautiful grassy, shaded area with stunning views, privacy and seclusion. The site has a lovely sweeping bend that has water that's suitable for families to swim in with some shallow water for littlies to paddle in.  There is also some lovely sand for the kids to play in. Locally you are in the middle of the two famous valleys which offer some amazing gourmet experiences. You are within minutes from the King valley or the ovens Valley. And 50mins from Bright with all the beautiful towns and attractions on the way. You're spoilt for choice in this location for wineries, restaurants, berry farms. Famous town of Beechworth is only 30mins. Ideal location if you feel like leaving the magic camp ground that will provide you with a real sense of peace and relaxation with not a building in sight.

River Gum Paddock

A Wild paddock with a couple of friendly old goats.  There are some grassy open spaces and some more bushy areas full of River Gum’s. 

Situated on 3 acres of land it has easy access from the road and clean water supply. 

The property is located five minute walk to Wangaratta’s riverside cafes, restaurants and the beautiful  Ovens and King rivers.
