Woodleigh was just perfect! Nestled amongst the lush gardens by the little creek, a bountiful orchard of berries to enjoy at our leisure and the sounds of the waves crashing at the historical Two Tree Point beach - we felt as though we had landed in heaven. Kathryn and Alex were so warm and welcoming and even gave us a lovely jar of homemade jam to enjoy with instructions where to find the local sourdough bread stall. Adventure Bay was a wonderful base to explore South Bruny and we were able to see so many incredible sights whilst there for the 2 nights. We can highly recommend Woodleigh and hope to return again one day.

Kathryn and Alex’s property is even more beautiful and peaceful than the pictures convey. The spot was perfect for us, very quiet, plenty of birds annd wallabies about, a babbling brook, and across the road from the beach with easy enough access to get to town. Kathryn and Alex are very welcoming hosts and even helped us get our vehicle out of a bit of bother. Will be sharing and recommending this great find with family and friends.

We had the great pleasure of staying at Woodleigh for 2 nights. The spot was amazing . Beautiful grassed area next to a stream . Waves crashing just over the road. Lovely camp fire and beautiful gardens. Great place for our dog to roam and very close to the most beautiful beach. Only 2 campsites here so very private. Host was wonderful and welcomed us with her home made Berry jam and brought over firewood . This is a must stay. Don't miss it.

We had a lovely stay at Kath & Alex’s place which was set in a stunning location moments from the beach. The camp site was extremely well maintained on their homestead & they were both super friendly. Would also recommend trying Kath’s blackberry jam which was top notch👌🏻 Definitely the best campsite we’ve been too!

Beautiful and private spot in a great location, close to the beach. Kathryn and Alex were very welcoming even with a surprise booking only an hour earlier!
Very peaceful and everything you need without being surrounded by other people. Able to sit by the fire and watch the wildlife go past or sneak in to the campsite. If you are looking for a lovely spot close to Adventure Bay, we highly recommend.

The site is so peaceful, we felt like we were the only ones there. The gardens are a standout, Alex and Kath are amazing hosts and have an amazing property and one definitely on our return list. Kaths's blackberry jam was delicious. The potter roos are so cute..

We had a lovely time camping at Watering Place. It was very private and surrounded by beautiful ferns and a creek running beside us. You can also hear the sound of the ocean nearby. We had a great time on the beach with our labrador which was all within walking distance. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back. Thanx Kathryn and Alex for sharing your beautiful property and for the lovely jam 😀

Fantastic host and incredible location! We wished we could have stayed for a few more nights. The sites are spacious, private, and incredibly quiet at night—you can hear both the stream and the ocean. We also saw plenty of wildlife.
The hosts were friendly, respectful of our privacy, and quick to answer any questions.
Worth every penny!
FYI: If you have Starlink, the coverage is excellent.

We loved our stay at Woodleigh farm. The site by the creek is lovely and roomy. Plenty of shade and sunny patches to enjoy lazing about and walking through the berry patch was such a delight! Even though it was the end of the berry season, we still managed to find a few little berry gems to sample. Kathryn is a warm and inviting (and an excellent jam and sauce maker 🤤). We’re sure everyone will enjoy camping at this little slice of heaven.

We were privileged to be one of the first groups to stay at Kathy and Alex's amazing campsite. Both sites are idyllic, with sun and shade options, lots of near-level sites to choose from and excellent fire pits surrounded by log seats. The property itself is a natural wilderness, testimony to the owners' efforts over many years to restore the natural balance to the bush.
We picked our fill of blueberries, then had dinner around a lovely campfire and a peaceful night listening to the occasional Pademelon against the sounds of the ocean and the trickle of the stream.
This is five star camping. Book early as it is bound to get way too popular.
