Located an hours drive North West of Hobart near the quaint little town of Ouse (pronounced - ooze) and set on the pristine Derwent River. Like so many of the towns on the Derwent River, this region is very popular with bushwalkers, fishing enthusiasts, and mountain bike riders. Overlooking the "pot-belly" of the Derwent River,  This place is a fishing and kayaking heaven . Have a swim in summer, kayak or go for an adventure on your mountain bike. There are two kayaks and two SUPs you are welcome to use. And there is a boat ramp just a few kms down the road to launch your boat. The Bunkhouse is a beautifully built structure, with large windows and plenty of space. It's two storey, with the upper open-plan level accommodating 8 people in single bunk beds. A further two guests can sleep on the large sofa bed downstairs. The bunkhouse is fully self-contained with a kitchenette, toilet and shower.Clean sheets and blankets . Wi- Fi and streamed TV movie channels Please note - this is not the ritz! It's a simple bunkhouse, providing shelter to sleep, in a great location. If you wish to make use of the firepit, you'll need to BYO wood, this firepit is not often used. Instead, we'd recommend bringing a small portable bbq with you to set up by the river! You're welcome to bring pets too.

It's such a peaceful place beside the small creek and powered. Cabin # 2 (Woodshed) is next to the Woodshed with easy parking. Onsite we have kayaks and safety equipment for guests to use(deposit required). Located in Ranelagh, 2 mins from Huonville, 45 mins from Hobart, 20 mins from Cygnet, 10 mins from Franklin. Your hosts offer several multiple bed options and plenty of parking for any sized vehicle in the behind paddock which offers a great dog exercise space. We are a small farm with animals and gardens on the edge of residential convenience. Pets are welcome, as are fires in the designated pit.

Staying with Peta and Rory was just amazing, incredibly friendly people with amazing farm land and lovely animals, ducks, goats, sheeps, dogs, cats you name it! Definitely a must go for animal/remote outdoor lovers. The road to it was in very good condition and easily doable with a 2wd

Weekend Trip to The Bunkhouse at Camp Infinite

Our family, all adults and one very pregnant daughter, had a great time, it was an adventure taking the kayaks and paddle boards down to the water. We weren’t in a rush and we had plenty of laughs trying to get on and off the boards. It was basic accommodation, we bought our BBQ and Eskies, there was a small fridge and we spent most of our time outside, taking in the serenity. What a view! We took our camp chairs too, just for added comfort, there were plenty of chairs provided. Our dogs had a fantastic time, tired them out swimming and playing cricket. Brad lives next door, we wouldn’t have known he was there. I did speak to Brad prior and he was very obliging, gave great directions and we would definitely go there again. Thanks Brad for allowing us to stay at your lodge, letting us take our dogs and for being a great host.
