There are two communal fire pots on site, wood is on hand via a donation honesty box. There are wonderful fishing, swimming and kayaking options at both Merseylea and Kimberley less than 10 minutes’ drive away. You'll find many opportunities for hiking, with trails suitable for all ages and abilities. The closest dump point is a 9-minute drive to the “Town of Topiary” Railton, where you will find two charming coffee shops, a hotel, post office, a petrol station with a convenience store, a mechanic, a craft brewery and a takeaway shop. Railton boasts the delightful Goliath Park, with multiple recreational activities available including a tennis court, a pump track, skate park, covered barbeque and picnic area and playground. It’s also where you’ll find a trail head for the World Class Wild Mersey Mountain Bike Network, complete with toilets and wash down bays.
