We'd love people to come an enjoy our little farm 6km out the back of Middleton, SA. There are no facilities, power or access to water available but for anyone self contained you'll love it. We can offer you farm fresh EGGS pretty cheap though for breakfast. Check in from time from 1.00pm, but touch base if your'e early, we'll stretch for for you. Super close to some of the best beaches in the state. Middleton for surfing 🏄 Goolwa for fishing 🎣 Port Elliot for swimming 🏊‍♀️ Rates include you getting to hang out with the horse (Nick) who love a stray carrot or 10 and our beautiful sheep including Kevin (the white sheep of the family, you'll get the joke when you meet him) We do allow dogs on leads as long as they are ok with animals. Set behind the beautiful Mt Lofty Ranges in the Adelaide Hills and only 20 minutes from the city. Our farm has a Bernese Mountain Dog named Lotti, 6 ducks, 4 chooks, and a cat named Alfie. Surrounded on one side by National Park and the other by vineyards and plenty of wineries. The next township is just a few minutes away and has all the necessary needs (pharmacy, GP, pub, general store). Within 10 minutes you can rock climb or go swimming in a fresh waterhole. It’s a beautiful part of the world.

4 nights at BIG4 Port Elliot Holiday Park

Although the park was busy, its location and facilities were very convenient. The park is located between two busy coastal towns on a point with a quaint seaside village within a pushbike ride. The park was impeccably clean and facilities were in great condition with plenty of hot water. The land has access to two beaches and a small bluff to take in the sunset. Room for kids & dogs. Plenty of space to drive through for van and space for the car. Local town had some amazing venues and shops. Surf was plentiful with lots of local breaks. Didn’t really need to deal with the office so not sure on staff assistance. Great spot.

Easy to find, really large area with trees for cover & views for miles. Lovely meeting the very friendly Nick the horse & Kevin the sheep, they loved the carrots we packed for them. Only one other group while we were there, so it was lovely & quiet.

We thoroughly enjoyed the natural, completely secluded and safe camping spot. Our children and pup spent hours climbing trees, chasing butterflies and star gazing. We loved the private setting, with our own entrance that weaved through paddocks of horses and kangaroos. A true nature lovers paradise - We will be back!

This was our first time using Hipcamp and we are so glad we chose Shannon’s property for our first HC experience. Shannon was very hospitable, relaxed and welcoming. His sidekick Salty was such a lovely Dog who would fetch a thrown stick all day! Would definitely recommend this Hipcamp without hesitation!
