The property is a private farm with 2 dams and views extending across the valley. There are a number of suitable locations to for bush camping. Site access is limited to dry weather and vehicles with single axle camper trailer or tent. It is recommend for vehicles with higher ground clearance. The River is the flattest of the campgrounds if you require a completely level site for your vehicle. A number of alpacas and sheep share the camp grounds. Sites suit bush camping with limited amenities. Potable water is available upon request but there are no toilets or services on site. There are a number of great wineries in the area all with excellent food and produce you can enjoy. Close to: Hahndorf - 5 min drive Stirling - 10 min drive Mount Lofty - 15 min drive Tour Down under (TDU) - passes at the end of the road several wineries Campers must be self contained with their own camping toilet and water and take all rubbish with them upon departure. Due to the livestock on site dogs unfortunately are not allowed.

Wombat Creek Camp

Just 1.5 hours from Adelaide, Wombat Creek Camp is located on the eastern side of the Adelaide Hills and Mount Lofty Ranges, and close to the Marne River. Campers can enjoy the peace and tranquillity around the clock, sit patiently waiting for the wombats to go foraging or relax in front of a fire. This campsite suits self-contained campers with own camping toilet/shower amenities and pets are welcome. This campsite is an excellent base from which to make day trips to the Murray River, the world-renowned Barossa wine region or the Adelaide Hills, all of which are about 34-45 minutes away. Campers can go 4WD driving on a track 10 minutes away and visit a wildlife sanctuary. If you have a black light you will see the Wombats in the dark. There is also a walking trail nearby, and a community native garden to visit. This area comes into “The International Dark Sky Reserve,” which means on a clear night, there are Stars a plenty. I may come down to site to meet n greet if I’m home. RV dump points are about half an hour away, one in Mt Pleasant at the oval and one across the River in Mannum. All access is best from Three Chain rd, thru the neighbours gate, and once thru the gate, please keep left to remain on my property. I ask that all tenters and swaggers please bring a portable camping toilet. Tents don’t do too well in the case of strong winds which can occur, however, I have had many a tents here in the past. Every first Sunday of the month, the Cambrai Agricultural museum is open, and also the Old Barn at Sedan has open mike free entry with light meals and a lisence bar . A good Sunday outing close by. Also , large groups over 30 plus ppl are welcome , and I will close other bookings for your event, be it a renunion, or an anniversary of some sort, or a club meeting,

We are located walking distance from lake alexandrina, we’re there are plenty of activities to do such as fishing, boating, and more. There is abundance of wildlife with our resident mob of kangaroos stoping by daily it’s a bird watchers paradise. This site is a 4 minute walk from the main house and is completely private. The property has its own private road so plenty of room for kids to ride their bikes, we have horses and cows that guests are welcome to feed over the fence. The town of milang has its own mini mart and cafe and on weekends the train museum is open for viewing. Must be self contained and leave no trace.

It has it's own flushing toilet and cold water basin housed in a shed 6 metres from the tent, plus hot water gas shower for exclusive use of tent occupants. Towels, soap and face cloths provided. The 212 acreage includes a walk in only area of over 15.5 hectares of protected heritage scrub. The site is located less than an hour drive South from Adelaide CBD, and 2km North East of the beautiful and friendly community based township of Mount Compass in the Southern Lofty Ranges. This bell tent is situated in a woodland under an array of Gum trees. It has it's own flushing toilet and cold water basin housed in a shed 6 metres from the tent, for exclusive use of tent occupants and a hot water gas shower. Towels, soap and face cloths provided. Walk in only during winter, approximately a 250 metre walk from the parking sight. There are nine Dams on the property, with guests are welcome to Kayak or fish for yabbies. Learn more about this land: We live on a working farm with the Homestead and home paddock approximately half a km from the tent. The 212 acres includes a walk in area only of over 15.5 Hectares of Protected Heritage Scrub.The property has an abundance of wildlife, including, but not limited to: Grey Kangaroos in large mobs. Echidna. Rosenberg's Goanna. Yellow Tailed Cockatoo. Beautiful Firetail. Koala. Yellow Footed Antechinus. Bibron's Toadlet. Cut leaf Xanthosia. The site is suited to people who want a quiet secure base from which to explore the region. Camp site is fully fenced on 5 acres. No chemicals used on the block. The camp site is on a section of 5 acres of this property. Its location is approximately 5 min drive from the Murray River where you can enjoy boating, swimming, and fishing at Woodlane Reserve. Majestic river red gums in the area make for beautiful walks along the bitumen road as seen in the photos. Mypolonga is a small agricultural town. The location is reasonably quiet however at peak times you may be able to hear boats from the river, or the other agricultural pursuits on the farms. The location is approximately 20 km from Murray Bridge and 1 hour from Adelaide and the Barossa Valley. Monarto Safari Park is 25km away and there is private wetlands Paiwalla on the opposite side of the river which you visit by kayak/canoe or drive. We are currently not allowing children or dogs. Cats are acceptable.

The property is 75 acres of bush scrub, just 1.5 hours from Adelaide, and the gateway to the beautiful Riverland area. The land consists of mallee trees and saltbushs scattered, with enough privacy to find your own private nook and enjoy peace and tranquillity. Access to the River Murray is just five minutes down the road, so bring your boats, jetskis or kayaks and enjoy days spent down at the river, before retreating to basecamp for an enjoyable evening under the stars. On-site, there is enough room to ride your pushbikes with numerous tracks to explore and give you a good walk or ride. There is a pizza oven/outdoor cooking area with a small campfire. This is a communal area, shared by all campers. We have options for open camping where you choose your own site on the property, or you can book our cement slab which is conveniently close to the communal camp cooking area. (Please note, there is a total fire ban in the area from 15th Nov - 15th April). Pets are welcome, however, please keep them close as the property is unfenced, and the wildlife roam freely. The nearest town, Blanchtown, is just 3km away and here you will find a pub/bottle shop, with great meals and river views.

Our 40 acres is 2WD accessible and set just off the coast in beautiful McLaren Vale, South Australia. The camp is set in a flat, cleared area on the rear of our working family property. With ample space to spread out and put your feet up, the River Red Gum trees also provide natural shade and shelter. Perfect for setting up tents, hammocks or a slack line! Along with local kangaroos, you'll likely spot our small flock of sheep in the paddock nearby or the neighbouring horses up the hill. Ask us about our small batch wine and take advantage of being in the heart of wine country - the nearest cellar door is only a 3 minute drive away! After an afternoon of wine tasting, drive 10 minutes to the beach and enjoy a sunset over the water. Tomorrow, choose your own adventure with more wining and dining, swimming and surfing, or walking one of McLaren Vale's stunning trails. On a Saturday, you might find yourself at the Willunga Farmers Market (5 min drive) which runs each week from 8am to Midday and offers a variety of local goods and produce. Wineries within a 10 minute drive include: - Battle of Bosworth Wines - Down the Rabbit Hole Wines - Fox Creek Wines - Ekhidna Wines - and many more! - Not to forget Swell Brewing Co., just 9 minutes away. Our favourite coffee places include: - Dawn Patrol Coffee (4 min drive) - Goodness Coffee Co. (8 min drive) - Someday Soon Co. (6 min drive) - many more in Willunga and Aldinga! Please note the following! - No shower or toilet facilities provided, campers must be self-sufficient. - Three drinking water taps are available for your convenience. - No pets. We have a variety of animals on our property that rely on us to keep them safe. - No motorbikes. - No fires from approx. November 1 - April 30 due to SA restrictions. If not during this time, please clear it with us as restrictions and fire ban days change year to year. - Please stay within the designated camp area! As a working property and vineyard, we have large machinery in use daily and visitors must follow biosecurity protocol (fancy explanation for keeping everyone's vineyards safe from disease and pests).
