Situated on 100 acres 5km north of Robe town, and a very very short drive (or 2km walk) to beautiful Long Beach, the Robe Camel Farm is in the perfect location.
Camper trailers, rooftop tents, and small campervans are suited to the Shady 1 and Shady 2 sites. These two sites are nestled amongst beautiful gums. Caravans and large motorhomes are suited to The Paddock site. The Paddock is an open site near the tourist shop. Perfect for larger set ups and great for solar.
You are free to watch the camels in the paddock from behind the fenceline. If you are after a more up and personal experience with the beautiful beasts, you can book a Morning Milking Tour or a Camel Safari in our electric buggy. Book these experiences on the website www.humpalicious.com.au.
Robe Camel Farm is a very relaxed environment. We will be carrying on daily jobs such as camel feeding, building, training etc. Guests are welcome to participate in daily farm life if they choose to!
Note, we do keep beehives on the property, so if you are badly allergic to bees, please come prepared. Dog friendly but must be well controlled. Campfires not permitted.

Our property is located in Canuda, the terrain is hilly with several clear, flat spots good for camping. The entire 33 acres is available for you to explore on a nature walk.
Any clear area within the boundary is available to camp in but a site needs to be booked and I will suggest an appropriate location.
Being a declared scrub block it is undisturbed and snakes are present but if you leave them alone they will mind their own business.
Small fires are permitted, only where a fire ring exists and out of fire ban season. Check listing details for more information. Gas fires and BBQ are not permitted during total fireban. More appropriate instructions are provided the day prior to booking in.

Cannot say enough good things about this spot.
The paddocks can be tight but for the location it is completely worth it.
Max, one of the farm dogs, was as cute as can be and even with our reactive dog was so submissive and friendly. We were able to join the owner on the nightly feed of the camels and were reminded just how incredible these creatures are! You have to try the camel milk as well. Just google all the benefits! Knowing how well these animals are treated makes it that much more special. Highly, highly recommend and cannot wait to return.

We loved our stay at the camel farm. We managed to squeeze our 22foot an in to the shady site 2 but it was a bit of a mission to get out. It was out of the wind and secluded. We went for a walk and met the donkey and pony as well as the camels which made the stay fun!

We really enjoyed this camp spot! Great communication, lots of space to pick a spot for set up. Dog friendly as well, our dog loved having space to do her own thing whilst remaining on lead. Amenities were great as well!

We had a great stay in Shady 1.
Was a bit tricky turning around within the site. I would recommend reversing in to the site if you’re towing a camper longer than 3.5m.
A walk around the camel farm revealed some great surprises, like the peacocks and chooks and a very friendly donkey. And the camels were fabulous!

Plenty of room in a large field and if you require a bit more shelter there are two small paddocks as an alternative - facilities where very clean 😊
