What a wonderful place to stay during our (all too short!) visit to the Barossa. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. Belinda was absolutely delightful — friendly, helpful, and full of great local tips for places to visit, eat, and explore. The accommodation itself was peaceful and beautifully set among the vines — we had the whole vineyard to ourselves, which made it feel extra special. 😀 Sitting outside with a glass of wine, surrounded by the scenery, was such a highlight. We couldn’t resist purchasing some of the vineyard’s wine to enjoy once we’re back home — a lovely reminder of our stay. Highly recommend The Cutting , so much better than staying in a caravan park! Kim and Michael’s property was a peaceful oasis overlooking the vines. We stayed here for 2 nights with family in 2 vans and loved the open space. Michael gave us a great wine tasting, explaining from start up of their family winery. Perfect location for exploring the McLaren region with Aldi close by for grocery top ups. The site was completely private, except for the occasional welcome visit from a kangaroo or two, with 360-degree vineyard views and a stunning drive in. My family and I absolutely loved camping out in our caravan right next to the water and waking up to the sunrise each morning reflecting off of the cliff faces of the Murray River. Our host Susan was lovely and very informative of the area amd even let us borrow a small row boat to explore the lagoon with.
