We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail. The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, so dogs on leashes at all times, and please pick up after them. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy! There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh. There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet. Great Hotels/pubs to dine in at Tarlee and Riverton. Emporium cafe for the best coffee in Riverton Important Information to know before ALL GUESTS/VISITORS MUST BE BOOKED IN BEFORE ENTERING OUR PROPERTY!!! All campers must check in BEFORE 8pm. If you are unable to arrive before 8pm, please make a booking for the following day instead. Generators are allowed on the unpowered sites, please respect other campers with turning them off by 10 pm at the latest. No chainsaws on property. Loud music not permitted, please turn silent by 8.30PM Pets are allowed, as long as they are on leashes at all times STRICTLY NO MOTORBIKES RIDDEN ON PROPERTY No rally driving. If you have day visitors joining you during your stay, please go to the extras section and add the numbers to the booking, We also operate another Hipcamp called BURRA CREEK CAMPING situated 25km North of Robertstown, ideal for mostly 4WD and off road campers. PLEASE NOTE We closed until March 2026 due to high fire danger. Feel free to book ahead. Seven Sisters is perched on the Skilly Hills, the western side of the Clare Valley. Overlooking the Blyth Plains above Kybunga, the views are nothing short of stunning. Nearly every evening brings fabulous sunsets. Ideal for family stays or just a quiet spot to chill out. Bush walking in the Spring Gully National Park is just down the road and within 2klms is the Armagh to Spring Gully trail. Our neighbours include the fabulous Eldridge Wines, one of Clare Valleys best. Close by are many more fabulous wineries and one of the best Gin Distillers (in our opinion) in the Mid North, Sawmill Gin. The local taxi service is very accommodating and happy to come out to Seven Sisters. I believe they will also ferry you to wineries in the area. Seven Sisters is a hilly grassland with wooded areas, creeks and rocky outcrops to explore. Anywhere within our boundary fence is there for you to explore. Our sites on the property are easily accessed. 2 sites on our farm road with a 4th site set at the back of the property which is very secluded. All sites have seasonal fire pits. Please don’t enter the fenced area around the house or go outside our boundary. Ideal for families or just a quiet stay.

It has plenty to offer with very secluded sites with maximum privacy. All sites are equipped with a very generous camping area, ideal for bigger groups. Preferably suited to off-road caravans and campers but still accessible by an everyday vehicle. Ruff Run Camping is for self contained units or feel free to use natures toilet! Please take great respect in our lovely land and leave the site as; or better then you found it. Lovely views from the hill line out to the west and south from SevenHill. Open space for multiple vehicles if needed. Easy to park up. Due to the exposed nature of the site, better for vans and hard shell camping, not ideal for tents if the weather turns.

The hut has been beautifully rebuilt and although the weather was great it was really handy to unload the van and would be amazing in winter with the fire. Site was very peaceful and hosts are amazing and can’t wait to come back m!

The Western most rise on Seven Sisters. Tucked down in the saddle of the hills with spectacular views. Walk down to the creek and dam, usually some wild ducks to be seen. This site can be a bit windy but generally not. You may get a visit from the sheep or kangaroos.
The sunsets are spectacular. ENJOY.

Nice and quiet spot with a fire pit and plenty of privacy. We didn't see or hear a car or other person during our stay - it was awesome to not be packed in like a sardine like in the public camp grounds that you still need to pay to stay at. We will be back!

Great place. Great hosts. Always feel welcome. Do yourself a favour and check out and stay at the Shepherds hut. Very cool. Amazing to see how Pete put it back together rock by rock. Sunset Baa always a favourite, best vantage point for the best sunsets you’ll ever see. Very peaceful place. Great for a recharge.

Greated at the entrance by Trish and guided to our site. Gorgeous open area with plenty of room to unwind and enjoy the views. Sites are very large and so peaceful giving each campsite space to have their own freedom with others not right next to you. Fire pit near each site was good on cold nights. We loved our stay and will return. Very well priced. Upon leaving there is a bin to get rid of your rubbish.
