Welcome to Archerview Farmstay – Wild River Camp, a peaceful escape set on 550 acres of countryside where the wild river winds past open paddocks and native bushland. Whether you’re pitching a tent, parking your caravan, or staying in the bush camp lodging, you’ll be surrounded by nature with riverfront views, forested tracks, and wide open skies.

The property offers spacious camping and lodging options suitable for solo travellers, couples, families, and small groups. It’s just a short walk to the river, making it easy to enjoy swimming, paddle boarding, or simply relaxing by the water. You’ll find on-site water taps, river-water access, fire pits for cozy evenings, and shared showers and toilets depending on your chosen site. 

Bushwalking and mountain-biking tracks spread across the farm, giving you plenty of room to explore between dips in the river or time spent unwinding by your campfire. Pets are welcome, though they must be leashed due to livestock and poultry on the property.

Archerview Farmstay offers the perfect mix of quiet seclusion and outdoor adventure. Wake up to birdsong by the river, spend your days swimming or wandering the bush tracks, and end your evenings beneath a wide, starry sky. Leichhardt Creek Organic Farm

  We have a 300 acre organic property which is mainly open forest with a mile of creek frontage. Smaller caravans, tents, camper vans and rooftop tents can camp in the forest next to the creek. This is a working farm and we don't check emails every day so please book ahead. You will have to confirm what time as we have a locked gate.

Emerald Escape Camping

Offering a small number of private camp sites spread across 5000 acres of diverse landscape. From the 25 acre lake to the refreshing Emerald Creek; from your own billabong & gumtrees to being up in the escarpment with spectacular views, you are sure to find your perfect escape.&nbsp;Guest will have access to a composting toilet during their stay. All guests are required to take all rubbish with them and leave no trace.Ideal for solo adventurers or small to large groups. Some sites are accessible by 2WD and suitable for trailers, small caravans and campervans, others by 4WD only.- Each camp site is for one party only & 100's of meters or even kilometers away from any others. All campers have access to our big lake & creek day areas. Enjoy leisurely walks or challenging hikes, climbing, mountain biking, swimming, canoeing etc.- We are situated right next to the magnificent Emerald Falls, Wet Tropics World Heritage Area and Davies Creek Mountain Bike Park.- Sorry no pets.- Only one hour from Cairns international airport.

Boonjie is a great place to base yourself to visit the amazing sights in the surrounding area! Our property has beautiful native visitors, including the occasional cassowary, and regular morning choir of ground dwelling chowachillas.

This campsite suits self reliant and self contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and water supply.

Lamins Hill lookout, and the entrances to Windin Falls, and the famous trek up Queensland’s Highest Mountain, are only minutes away. So too, are the Atherton Tablelands‘ crater lakes, Eacham & Barrine, and the small town of Malanda, with its iconic falls, both designated swimming destinations, though, highlights are the clear creeks between there and Boonjie (means mate). This is near “Top Camp”, where First Nations people would arrive after the gruelling walk up the Russel River, from the coast, where Innisfail now stands (Innisfail can be seen from the top road). 

With evidence of European and Chinese gold miners, from the 1900’s, this spot is both remote AND central, for a day trip to Millaa Millaa’s extraordinary Falls circuit, Herberton’s Historical Village and the flowered and funky Yungaburra.

KUR-Cow Farm Stay

KUR-Cow Farm was once known as Barnwell Farm.

Coffee was extensively grown throughout the Kuranda/Myola region in the early 1890's until frosts wiped out large numbers crops in the early 1900's. Robert William Warren purchased portions of the land at Barnwell in the 1890s and established a coffee plantation on the property which was named "Downtown Farm." Dairy cattle were bought to Barnwell by William Henry Barnwell in 1936 and by 1939 he had managed to successfully establish for a dairy farmer and was advertising for a dairy hand with remuneration of 25 shillings per week and keep. Dairy cattle remained on the property until some point following World War II. It has been said that William Henry Barnwell was one of the earliest cattle farmers in the Myola and Kuranda areas to carry Droughtmaster cattle. He was well regarded as a 'cattle man' in the Myola area. Opening to public in August 2018, Barnwell Farm now welcome visitors daily from all over the world. Offering its guests an interactive, Australia cattle experience with a little adventure thrown in also and exquisite cuisine.

Our accommodation consist of 2 cabins sleep 2 adult and 2 children, the room is not interconnect but fence with our private court yard for dinning.

Price include Petting Zoo entry for 2 adult and 2 children.

Guided Horse riding and ATV tour is available daily and minimum age is 4 years old for horse riding and 6 years old for ATV. 

Lunch is available on Saturday and Sunday. Sunset Wagyu BBQ offer daily.

Tolga Caravan Park is situated on the Kennedy Highway at the northern end of the Tolga Scrub, the last remnants of the endangered Mabi Rainforest in the region. The Scrub is home to an abundant variety of local wildlife, including the Spectacled Flying Fox – with the Scrub being their only permanent camp on the Tablelands.

We have easy access, large, grassy, flat sites with some drive through sites available. We offer powered and un-powered sites.

We also have onsite cabins – with more accommodation options coming soon.

The Rail Trail can be accessed to the rear of the property offering guests a great walking or bike riding trail with direct access to Atherton and to the Tolga Hotel.

A few places to explore are Lake Tinaroo, Paronella Park, Yungaburra platypus viewing, Crater Lakes, Herberton Historic Museum, Millaa Millaa Waterfalls, Curtain Fig Tree and Gallo Dairy Farm to name a few. A perfect base for all of your Tablelands exploring.

Pets are welcome if you have your own van.

The park is walking distance to coffee shops, takeaway, Tolga Hotel, newsagent, bakery, hair salon and The Humpy. Supermarkets and the main town of Atherton are just a 5 minute drive along with a dump point.
