With a majority of remnant bush land, it’s a naturalists wonderland with a number of native flora and fauna found in few parts of Australia. The facilities on the property are ever evolving and offer; • large fenced area • large communal fire pit • small camp kitchen • two toilets • covered areas • pool table • book and toy library • small hobby farm with friendly goats and chickens • large horse yards • two dams (great for cooling off) Please note that a 4WD and off-road camper are recommended If you are wishing to access our more remote camp sites on the property.  Nearby hamlets of Childers, Biggenden and Apple Tree Creek have a unique combination of history, culture, food, wine and art in a relaxing atmosphere of country life.  The retreat caters to families, groups, travellers and holiday makers alike. Peaceful 5 acres lots of trees on one half , cleared on the other with a huge dam, with lily pads a wharf, great place to chill back ,watch all the wild birds, ducks, cockatoos, hen birds, spoon bill birds, whistling ducks, Galahs, Rosella's, rainbow lorikeets, king parrots, Kangaroos. We also have sheep, chickens, turkeys, which the kids can feed in the afternoons. We are only 5 mins away from the Ferry to Fraser Island, 10 mins to Hervey Bay, with its Esplanade , bike, & walking trails, also there is dog friendly beach's. Great place to stop, and rest before Fraser Island, we are dog friendly, but must be kept on leash at all times.

Our sites are unpowered, no water and we have no facility's. You will need to be fully self sufficient. Located 10 minutes off the highway. We are located between Gin Gin and Childers Qld.

Situated 45 minutes drive from Bundaberg, our 320 acre property has a small goat farm and plenty of bushland to relax in. Take a walk through the trails or follow along the dry creek bed (seasonal). There are plenty of kangaroo, bandicoots, goannas, water dragons, koalas, and varieties of bird life to catch a glimpse of. We back on to Littabella national park where there is more to discover. We are close to Baffle Creek for excellent fishing. Or try Lake Monduran about a half hour drive where there is great fishing, kayaking and swimming. There are many state forests and national parks nearby to explore. 20 minutes to Rosedale, 45 minutes to Bundaberg. 1 hour to Agnes Waters. 2 hours to Hervey Bay. 5 hours to Brisbane. Guests are required to be fully self-contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided. Free firewood, collect as much as you need from around the property. We have a small apiary, and our happy bees enjoy the tree blossoms way up in the treetops. They do produce plenty of yummy honey, so ask if we have any available.
